Re: 710k running like crap

Happy that it worked for you. I wish I had asked before I did all those things to my 710m. I Now check the molex every few months just to be safe.

Re: 710k running like crap

Hi Recon,
I had the same problem a while back with my 74m. After carb rebuild, fuel pump rebuild, new gas tank, Jim L advised checking the molex connection and bingo. I just cleaned it and it ran like new. would be worth a try.

Re: Missing in Ms again

Thanks for the reply Robin. I will try the night run. The last time it had these symptoms it was a dirty molex connection. I cleaned it today and it seemed to get worse.

Missing in Ms again

Hi all. About a week ago my pinz started missing. When started cold it will run and idle perfect, after driving 20-30 min. you can kill the engine and start again and it has a bad miss at mid range. I have replaced plugs, air and fuel filters, and coil. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in adva...

Thanks for the replies Jim and Edzz. I overlooked the specs in the repair manual. Jim sounds like a great price. I will need to follow up with the local source first, a close friend spent lots of time locating them. I should know in a few days if they can reline the brakes, If not I do want t...

The info I am looking for is the thickness of the lining. I may have found a source for lining my brakes close to home. Thanks again.

Jer Bear I had an aluminum tank made a few years ago and have had no issues on my 710m. Had it made like the stock tank with baffles, painted to match the truck. If I were doing it again I would remove the jerry can mount and extend the tank.

David I have had that federal tire on my 710m for over a year which I drive every day and they have more than half the tread left. I think you will be very happy with them.
