Pinzgauer 710M for sale, North East England

My 1975 ex-Swiss army Pinzgauer 710M is up for sale. It is left-hand drive with 24V electrics. It is road-registered on a P plate and is taxed until May 2013. The MoT expired a few months ago and I have not yet had it re-tested although I’m not aware of anything that would prevent a successful test....

Nut splitter worked a treat here too, although I took both the silencer and heat exchanger off first to get better access.

I might be able to do this, depending on dates.

I have slept in the back, both in the footwell, and with one side's seats down (preferable), but now I use an Oztent RV5. http://www.oztent.com/ This is easy to put up and fits just right in the back of a 710 when its folded up. I've just re-insured with Adrian Flux - £153 fully-comprehensive with unlimited mileage.

I am a MVT member.

It seems slightly cheaper than last year but I have stripped out all of the extras they like to add.

I've done those sort of distances a few times. I don't think it is any real problem if the truck is well serviced and the fluids etc. are checked. I will leave others to comment on effects of altitude as I have no experience of that.

Hi Dave

Can you run the waxoyl thing past me again. It just coats the surface and doesn't stop the water running away so I don't follow the corrosion point?

I get the rock/pebble problem which can be a real pain at times when they block the drainage.

I have actually waxoyled my footwells up to the level of the checker plate.

Yes, I think there is some more to come next week but, hopefully, not as heavy as Saturday (when we had almost six inches of rain in one day).

This is what I'm talking about. What is it and what does it do? I think it is an attachment for the grease gun. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2401/2836058000_779cc0ae68_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3183/2836059014_73462e40c2_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3227/2836059914_81118bb9fb_b....
