Can you please confirm your version II fuel filter and water seperator part numbers from your catalogue? Mine only shows the version III filter 7161085060 and on another page lists it as 7161670401. ? The water seperator is listed as 016281127417 but crossed out beneath it is the code 191127401c?? A...

A very delayed update sorry. I now have new pads and discs all round and after sorting a sticking calipers at rear she now pulls up a treat! Thanks for comments

Hi everyone. I'm having trouble finding a fuel filter and water seperator here in Australia . Does anyone know of compatible parts and part numbers?? as the part numbers I have For these items I cant locate anywhere here in Australia !

Can anyone offer some advice. The brakes on my truck (716) have gotten progressively worse and after inspection I have changed the front pads that were very worn. The rear were ok still. However the braking has not improved so I've taken it to a mechanic who believes the discs on the front are worn ...

What do i need to flush the drives with?? will engine oil flush work as I havent seen a specific diff or wheel drive one. Will 80w-140 (G5) be better for keeping noise down???

Wheel drive oil replacement
i want to change the oil in my wheel drives to quieten them down a little, whats recomended as im having trouble locating Mobil glygoyl 30 in small quantities here in Australia. Does it need to be synthetic and do I need to flush the drives out prior to refilling? Thanks

All fixed at last! I got a new Viair unit from XMod with the Airdryer included, a bit pricey but sorted now. I believe the problem arose from a faulty thermo cutout switch. Thanks for so much advice and help. nice to know your all out there.

Hello again, Im pretty sure my problem arose from a faulty relay sticking on, then the overheat sensor not working. The compressor overheated and melted the plastic "pressure sensor and air dryer component"? and that was it!!!! i have pumped the system up and she is still up so no leaks pa...

Wow!! So gratefull for all the help and information guys. I have a few options now. first i need to lose some weight out the rear!!! I may go for the expensive "xmod" thats available as I think it will save me rewiring ( not my strong point) but we are carefully on way to Darwin, on tarmac...
