Re: So..the new Jurassic World teaser is out..
Pretty sure this is the truck . . . With some cheap modifications! It's now part of the tour fleet at Kualoa Ranch where this part of the movie was filmed. Just drove by a few weeks ago; no dinosaurs that I could see! Will have to try and get the key to the gate - maybe they are in the back of the v...

Re: 710M and 712M Pinz Commercial Operators
OK it's not a 710/12 but still nice to see a Pinz on the front page of the local paper (http://www.staradvertiser.com). Scroll down to the business section . . . Behind the pay wall is this story: "The most environmentally friendly members of Hawaii's visitor industry were recognized by the Haw...

Thanks. We got it apart and cleaned it up but no luck. Will order a new one ASAP and go from there. Appreciate the assistance!

Rear Emergency Flashers
"Everything" works (taillights, turn signals, flashers on the front) but there are no flashers on the back. Any clues on how to track this down? Thanks!

Did you use a credit card? If so you should have 60 days to dispute the charge and get your money back from your card company.

I wish I was working on your Pinz today instead of mine- we'll have a high of 29. This is actually balmy for Jan here, so I'm taking advantage of the warm weather! Good reminder of how lucky I am to have nice wx year round! If it makes you feel any better, Uncle Sam will be moving us to Colorado in...

Re: Who has the red 712 k/m in Hawaii?
My bad! Should have just said if you are on Oahu can I buy you a beer? Maybe a Kona Longboard FBI  or buy a six pack and meet you at Harry's to stare at his distributor  Aloha - David PS - we don't use maps here that much; if you just keep driving you usually end up where you started . ...

Re: 712 M model toy
Might want to check with Thilo (http://www.mogsrus.com/). Not sure about a 712 but he has a few on his shelf and more than what is pictured on his site. Got an almost duplicate of my truck in waiting; still working on finishing off a desktop display - . https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-pWkHWzACqQE...

Re: Tour company crash injures at least one (Pinzgauer)
It's been real wet. Maybe he was on the brakes but slid back after he locked them up and lost control? Great selling point is how poorly the tour companies drive and maintain thier vehicles - but they keep on ticking!

Re: Transmission shifter knob
It should "slide" off but probably won't because there is a little spring steel sleeve thingy (RING KNOB SHIFTER HANDLE - http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.php?cat=pinzgauer&partno=9009866/) that is probably corroded. Maybe try spraying your favorite solution for getting things like...
