712m 6x6 1973 for sale

I know I'll regret posting this but here goes: Up for sale! 1973 712M 6x6. Puchased from T-LOs in 2010. Rig is very clean and runs great. It's been kept in a heated shop and has no leaks. I am asking $26,500 OBO. Here's a list of what was done in 2010 - Install 7 new radial tires ( I stuck with newe...

Re: Gradually downsizing my fleet... the Pinz seems to be ne

Well I just listed one of my 1968 California Special Mustangs. It's a project car - but I already have one, so this is a spare!

I'm going to list the PINZ too. Just can't bring myself to post the ad.

Re: Gradually downsizing my fleet... the Pinz seems to be ne

I just found all the info from my original purchase. And lots of pics. I don't have time to post them all right now, but maybe I should create an ad (if I'm serious) This info should help determine value... Here is a list of things I will finish on the 6x6 # 0115: Install 7 new radial tires ( I stuc...

Re: Gradually downsizing my fleet... the Pinz seems to be ne

Thanks for the info guys. IF I decide to sell, I'll need to take some better pictures! When I bought the 712, Thilo had a list of items that he'd done to the Pinz. It's a very clean good running rig. It does have a 24v to 12v converter and is set up to tow with a regular hitch. I'll predict that onc...

Gradually downsizing my fleet... the Pinz seems to be next

I hate to admit it, but I buy too much stuff and have had too many cars. 11 to be exact. Over the last two years I've slowly begun selling off cars that I just don't drive or can't justify. It helped having a son turn 16 and me realizing my insurance bill would be insane. I started off selling a 200...

Re: Tires - convince me.

OK - looks like I'll have to find some tires and make the change.

What's the best size to fit on the stock rim?

Tires - convince me.

I don't drive my Pinz a lot....but every time I do I wonder how much better it would drive with new tires. I'm still running the original Maloyas that came on the pinz. I was given the option to put on radials when I bought it from T-Los, but I chose not to.... did I choose poorly? How much better w...

Labeling Pinz controls and guages

I don't drive my Pinz very often, and when I do I always seem to have to get reacquainted with all the controls. This is not really a big deal, but it can be an issue when someone else is driving! My plan is to label everything so my wife or any designated driver can manage the fan, wipers, lights e...

Re: fixing rear door latching mechanism - Help!

Well just in case anyone runs into this problem in the future......... I finally had time to take apart the lock plate and clean and inspect all the parts. Come to find out, the tongue had a slight ding in it... I pounded it out and smoothed it with a hammer. Put everything back together, and the do...

Re: fixing rear door latching mechanism - Help!

Thanks guys, all input is appreciated. And yeah I know the wedge is in backwards, I tried it both ways to see if it was messed up from before. It did look as if the shaft with the spring was slightly bent. I'm going to take it all apart again, clean even better and see what the heck is going on.... ...
