Re: Question for Pinz Owners

Miklyn Mobile does not import pinzgauers any longer, too much BS with MTO to get a title. That 710m on his website is long gone, webpage is out of date by 4-6 years, that is what he told me.

It's a BRDM-2. I used to hang around army garages when I was a kid and it actually looked much better without all that pimping crap, just my opinion, very capable offroad/recon truck :) not as cool as BMP2 http://www.rusarmy.com/uk/photo/armor/bmp_bmp-2_photo_mps1.htm but then it is a tracked apc, s...

Ditto I'd like to pick some up too- the European guys are supposedly running about 25-30mm, but haven't figured out who's making them there. I googled wheel adapters and there is allot of companies in US with 5-160mm and if you want to fit other brand rims like g-wagen or sprinters custom adapters ...

wheel spacers/adapters ?

I have noticed a few youtube videos with pinz rollovers due to narrow wheel base. Have anybody here tried using bolt-on wheel spacers/adapters ? to make pinz more side-hill friendly ? I know it will have more load on bearings but they will not blow-up in a year or so ? I had h@r 30mm over 20k and 2 ...

You really need to see the complete drivetrain before getting wild visions of major mods. Too many people have assume the the TD is just a new powerplant in the same body, along with it diffs and t case. The 716/18 drivetrain is a mirror of the gassers with the engine/trans on the left side ...

The 710-12 rim is 5-160 and the 716-18 is 5-130 bolt pattern. The complete axle off the td will fit the gasser just is expensive about five grand an axle. But in the end you have disc brakes instead of drums. The gasser motor has plenty of power if tuned properly. If you need more you could always ...

The bolt pattern on the G are the same as the 716/718, NOT the 710/12. Are you sure your G wheels are 16", and not 15's? Though 295s have been fitted to Pinzes before, I feel they are too wide and heavy for the gasser. I don't know how much you have learn on Pinzes, but major components on the...

PInzgauer Canada has 710k for 18k not too sure if it is reasonable, maybe... I thought of 718/716 but 40-50 grand i am not too sure about that. 710k or 712k is better for me also i have w123 diesel 300dt as a future donor for the motor and maybe seats and i do have 4 295-75-16 bfg of my g500 with bu...
