I did armament and egress on A-10's with the 75th TFS (the old "Flying Tigers") I still miss the sound of Brrrrrrrrrrrr Brrrrrrrrrrrr Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 8 miles away at the range in the early morning....great plane to work on. And to think, it was only 34 years ago........

Took a good bit of work (fun), but here it is.......at the behest of my son to not do it in tan,green or khaki, gray it is.
Started with a nice truck from EI, so really not any body work to speak of, just a bunch of sanding, prepping, taping and spraying.

The G finally got here this week....thanks to Scott at EI for a great truck at a fair price. Have put about 400 miles on it thus far, added a new set of tires, and have been having a blast!

Just want to get an idea what folks have found to be a real world towing capacity for the 710M. Plan on towing a Kawasaki Teryx 800, it weighs in at around 1600 lbs., plus the weight of the trailer, so somewhere in the neighborhood of 2800 lbs., mostly short, level, trips within 50 miles of home. Got Andre's 710 on July 21st, he was back on the 24th to swap out his TD transmission. Truck ran and drove great, no issues other than the color.....after a bunch of hours, and a crap ton of paint (the blue did not want to die), here it is......

I bought Andre's blue 710 (getting less blue by the day), and he stopped by today to swap out the TD transmission for his 712. It was great to finally meet the man behind the reputation...what a great guy ( and Dave too...), the operation went smoothly, although it was Afrika HOT...now I will get on...

No real luck. Wired gauge correctly, still funky. Re wired to the sending unit, both sender and ground, still useless. I guess the next step is to RR the sending unit, but have gone to the time proven resetting of the odometer at each fill up....
