Re: Dog House Cracked
I actually just repaired my doghouse which had an 8-10 inch crack going up the middle. I researched from previous threads and random internet information and used a product called Q Bond. It worked really well thus far as I patched it this morning. Time will tell but it looks good and is a nice stro...

Re: Hagerty insurance
About 4 years ago I received a quote from Hagerty online and answered honestly when asked if I would take it off road, which was a yes. The quote finished and I received all the documents and a price on what it would cost. I signed up that evening and the next day the policy was cancelled on the gro...

Portal Fluid/Leak Question
I picked up a 712m Pinz a few months ago and verified all fluids were topped off. When doing this I noticed that some of the portal fluids seemed overfilled (when I removed the top plug it ran out immediatly). Forward a few months and a pinz sitting in a garage that gets upwards of 95 F and I notice...

Re: Mini San Diego Tech Day Short notice.
I am still not sure what time I can make it out there. I just saw they are shutting down the 67 fwy off the 8 tomorrow. I also have church in the morning. Might just run up there in my normal car to meet some people and see what these events are like. I would hope to be there around noon.

Battery Relay Replacement?
I was looking to replace the original battery relay on my rig. Would any 24v high amp 4 prong relay work. I know they have OEM replacements but they are like $86. I found a 24v 40 amp relay for $4. Am I missing anything here? Thanks for any help.

San Diego Pinzgauer Owner?
Had a smile on my face today. Saw a pinz on the road finally and it wasn't mine. Saw it in my rear view mirror and I figured for sure it was a 710. Flew up and b me making a left turn. Got even more excited when I saw it was a 712. Wish I could have followed it but I was heading back to work from lu...

Hi Guys, Thanks for the links. I did read those threads earlier but am confused because of Swiss Army Vehicles. The switch I bought from them is tapered. The other one I have from Napa (Part # 113 945 515 H - Auma 81 rabbit)is also tapered. Is there a different thread type with the same number? I kn...

Tapered Brake Switch Light?
Hello All, Picked up a 712m and working through a few issues. The brake light switch needs to be replaced. I went and purchased one from napa that was referenced here on the boards. It had a tapered thread and the original was reported to be non-tapered and have a copper washer around it. I decided ...

My turn signals would work sometimes, and then not at all blinking at random intervals if any. I put in a new electronic flasher and all of a sudden everything worked. The lights on the dash worked, all turn signals worked and even the hazards worked, including that little light in the switch for th...
