Re: 718 SOCOM front springs
Just remove the inner helper spring that was added. Your answer is right here! Take your inner spring out!!! Your not carrying half the weight that was carried on these truck with full kit. Removing the inner spring is like having the 2 stripe single springs. NJ718 did it to his and it made the rid...

I've seen this done with some vehicles that were recently on a Gov auction. The same person slamming them bought most of them.mopar wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if the big critic on BAT really just wants to scare away other bidders so he can scoop it.

Excellent work if it was only a 6x6 it would be perfect. Actually it has that monster truck look to it as 4x4 and is perfectly proportioned!

Re: (OT) Garfield is coming to So Cal ... ;)
Philip always has a Cat or 2 for sale. I hadn't seen a MK3 with a softtop before. I have the framework from a MK2 that I plan to fit to my second Cat. MK3's will bring top money, as they are current manufacture... still typically over 11000GBP... MK2 alot cheaper. Then there is shipping from the UK...

Re: Maybe found a 303, but.....
That older Volvo C202 is back on ebay again if you weren't set on a C303. Cheers, Greg That one has a good bit of rot on it almost bought til I saw that and a bunch of stuff is just made to work rather than fixed and would need to be repaired before. You'd be better off looking on blocket.se (swedi...

Re: US diesel 718 TD's
I have also purchased a 718m from GL. It is a 2001 P90. It runs and drives excellent. I am interested to meet fellow Pinzie owners in the New Hampshire USA area. I will post photos soon. I am a lifelong vw-porsche-audi mechanic and found the 718m to be very familiar albeit larger! I'm in New Englan...

Re: 718': whos really getting screwed
There was an Gov Liq auction a few months back that was posted and a novice bidder (in the community) got carried away and bid too much and was bidding against other dealers. No problem all is fair in love and war. What is not fair is that one person ran the auctions up on all the other trucks, eve...

Re: 718': whos really getting screwed
Funny aftertalking to the site manager for the auctions it was mentioned that 2 importers are trying to scoop them all up nas they can't import them into the country. One dealer has been vocal about staying away from the headaches of these vehicles yet is most likely one of the ones trying to buy th...
