Care to build another? Those of us with garage clearance issues really need something like your bar.

Thanks,

Re: Transmission Access Panel Seal

I personally would make up a gasket using a scrap piece of leather then soak in some oil and install it. A shoe repair shop (Cobbler) always have scrap leather kicking around.

"So with the correct CV grease I cannot see an issue."

I concur that with the proper adhesion/cohesion grease the 4K rpm should not be a problem Well done on the modification.

They would do whatever is necessary to get the truck back into top condition so it can be released back into service. Your body replacement is not uncommon.

Re: Fresh coat of Paint on the Pinz

Very very nice. I especially like the refinished rub rails. What color do you have on the truck? It seem close to a Carc green. We went with a Panzer green on the 712. A little more on the gray side. Great job!

I think just the Swiss Flag sign with no wording looks best.

I would say maybe 2 1/2-3" but for sure it is well inside the side mirror protrusion.

Re: Installed a military VHF antenna on the 712M

The Pinz Barely fits into the garage so much so that we had to remove the antenna base from on top of the cab and replace it with a flat plate. When driving the antenna is secured at about 45 degrees like in one of the pics and after a two hour drive last week on the highway the antenna did not have...

Re: Installed a military VHF antenna on the 712M

Yes on the bumper. Wanted a little bit more protection from an off center impact. Probably wishful thinking but it is a much stronger bumper then the stock unit. The brush guard was from SAV and it is a real pinz unit designed for jungle terrain as I recall. The Humvee sugar scoop bracket is smaller...

Installed a military VHF antenna on the 712M

Found an military NOS VHF antenna locally and then picked up a Humvee mount and installed them n the pinz. The antenna has a tuning switch so it works great on 27MHZ and ok on 2 Meters. Did not want to drill into the pinz body so installed it on the heater cover. What do you think? Mark http://i1335...

Re: Let's see some pics of your cabin divider

Hi Dan, They were mounted behind the driver so he can turn them on/off by just reaching behind his head. We found that heater spot was about the best place because right in front of it gets a bit hot. If it was mounted higher there might be a heat problem with the cargo cover. Theft is a concern but...

Re: Let's see some pics of your cabin divider

Thanks for posting your setup. I have not seen any bilges in a pinz so the worry factor for that is right around zero. I am amazed that you can get so many things in such a confined space and organize them so well. Fine job. Thank you, That little heater is something for you guys that live in colde...
