I was out there working in 35 degree heat having left the UK with temps at around 8 degrees. As you can see it was African style working. One of the local Lodges let us use their undercove...

Re: Any info on pinzy.... just got a new one!

It's a common problem with the D24 Engine for the camshaft to break. Number of reasons why that happens so my advice when you get a Pinzgauer with this engine fitted is :- 1/ Replace timing belt 2/ Replace bottom toothed pulley behind the crankshaft pulley 3/ Replace rear injection pump belt 4/ Repl...

Re: 718 Rebuild

That's real nice work Peter. That axle case looks new. I had to fit a new cylinder head on mine along with another one that came from Malaysia. I again used the AMC Head from a UK company good price. He has just shipped one out for Steve in Zambia. They only deal in VW diesels engines So try him if ...

Re: Cobaw State Forest, Victoria, AUSTRALIA.

I have run BFGs old Mud Terrains and had a set of the new KM 2s I don't think that the new KM2s are that good. I would now go for Kumho KL71s The best Tyres that I have run off road on the Pinnies, Land Rovers and Jeeps are Simex Jungle trekker 2s size 34-11.5 I have also tried the Simex extreme but...
