Re: Fuso
I got one here @ the shop right now that is about to go through the transformation from retired farrier to expo rig. They are similar to a Sportsmobile F250/F350 in off-road agility. kinda rigid in spots...no where near a Pinzy in capability.

If it had the fuel injected, 2.7 ltr motor and a balanced center tube, You could ask for the $50k and get it. It does have the balanced center shaft and rebuilt diffs front and rear...plus "I adjusted the parking brake while I had it all apart!" That last part was for you Andre. The rig n...

In the last 12 months this is what has been done to the Pinzy: paint, BFG A/T tires, rebuilt carbs, rings, head job, rebuilt alternator, civilian ignition w/ back up's of every item involved in the ignition system including Petronix module, brake shoes, seals, master cylinder, wheel bearings, clutch...

Re: Carb float tools - spot the difference!
For those of you that are following this thread but are reluctant to fix the carbs yourself...go on and install the bleed nipple but instead of using clear tubing, use black fuel line and you'll know for sure that you need to have you carbs fix'd by someone else. Sorry...had to do it!

Re: Misfire under acceleration
Did you bother to pull the tops off the carbs and check float levels? That can and will cause stumbling and a feel kinda like a misfire under load off idle if it is too outta whack! Just a thought outside of the whole Petronix issues. Alotta times you have multiple issues and one is just mask'n the ...

Re: Spring ???'s
I am in the process of a front winch bumper and by adding that weight to the front end will definitely finish off the already saggy springs hence they are only a "Beavers Fart" (water tight) from riding on the bump stops. I'll post pics when it's done and if the spring replacement works I'...

Re: Speedometer Problem
Why not disconnect the cable from the front diff and hook a drill to the end of it and see if the speedo works or is the cable fubar'd 1st before you go tearing into things!

Re: help me get this @#$%! thing started!!!!
Coat everything inside the dizzy w/ diode grease or 'ol school vasoline. H2O can't get through the goo but voltage can. Also grease ALL plug wires on both ends and every electrical connection you can find. This is an old trick when we would submarine our rigs in the swamps and really damp weather. G...

Re: Spring ???'s
Thank you for the info. I know the springs are "progressive" which would make them variable and not linear type. I may go on and try my little experiment and see how they work hence I have @ least twenty different sets laying around the shop that seem to be the same LxWxH as the ones that ...
