Re: Security Questions

The documentation is German, the spare parts lists, even the speedometer .....so don't expect everything's got to be available in english If you join, follow the discussions using whate...

Re: 12v power source for electric steering

Back to the initial question re: power steering. I use the EZ tech 12 V system sold by EI in the US. It requires a max of 40 amps on 12 V, but I have additional consumers in the 12 V subnet. So i decided to install a 12 V panel behind the passenger seat. This panel holds a 25 ams 24 to 12 v charger ...

Re: 10 mm Bolts to Remove Brake Drum

To all non-metric Pinz users:

You have two crossbars on your rear doors, holding the spare wheel.
These bars are mounted to the door with the screws you need. Just remove the bottom bar, and you are sorted.
No more search for the correct size or thread ...

Cheers !

Re: German winch mount

just one remark to your plans:

if you permanently block access to the the towing mouth with the winch you should think about another fixed point you can hook on to.

Re: German winch mount

Lads The reason for that device lies within our legislation: Anything you modify on a vehicle that is registered for traffic on public roads has to be TÜV approved. Moreover, if you weld something to the frame the welder has to show his welding diploma. Currently in Germany most Pinzgauers are regis...
