Jerome

I just realized the donor wiper motor is at the weekend house.
Won't be there before Chrismas, but I'll remember the topic.

Re: 3D Printing Pinz Parts

Jerome I have bought a new wiper motor generation 2 when the gear failed, and I guess there are many more in the same situation. https://up.picr.de/37257539fc.jpg There are a few spare parts available for generation 1 wiper motors but no gears. If I can find an intact gear and measure it, what forma...

Re: Suggestions for where to run wires to batteries.

I needed a 12 V system to supply my electric power steering. A 24 to 12 Volt converter / charger got installed behind the passenger seat and a 20 Ah motorcycle battery to buffer the system https://up.picr.de/36826925io.jpg The 24 Volt supply is connected directly to the starter motor and the 12 V su...

Re: Flywheel position for balance

As far as I know the flywheel is balanced independently from the crankshaft.
I had to take mine off to replace the worn gear ring and did not find any reference in the Austrian Army maintenance manual to mark the position.
Hope that gives you peace of mind :-)

Re: Clutch not disengaging

There is a rubber hose close to the slave cylinder. When you redo both cylinders , replace that part , too.
It saves you the hassle of bleeding the system again; usually the hose gets brittle by the time the seals in the cylinders wear out.

Re: Small gauge size in dashboard

Jake The Pinz is metric. The hole in the dash is exactly 60 mm in diameter and in previous years this was the standard size for several gauges. Some folks have installed Voltmeters to display the status of the onboard electricals, others have added a second fuel tank and use this hole for the corres...

Some time ago a similar thread ran at the German Pinzgauer forum. The lads discussed the reproduction of the gear in question
