I’ve been chatting with the guy that got it for 22,000. He got a steal!
Hoping he has buyer's remorse so I can come rescue it

I stopped subscribing to the daily BAT feed and blew it on this one.

Re: WANTED: Clean Pinz 712K or 718K in the USA

All of the fresh ones are probably going to be Austrian rehabs, and that's probably what you'd want to start with, if I'm honest. I am glad I did not see that 712K for $22K on BAT or my wife would probably have kicked me out of the house. That was a nice buy most likely and exactly in the condition ...

Re: LED tail lights

I like the look of these so much I'm going to jump. Found a pair on close-out prices. There is scant info on them, I presume the are completely sealed so you can't flip flop the sections and one would be mounted upside down? Even though I have the giant incandescent lights from the Austrian rehabs (...

Re: WTB 710K Table and/or hardware

There is a table in my Austrian 710K. If you need dimensions or anything I may be able to help, but it is not for sale.

If you use the Battery cut-off switch that would explain it.
No parasitic paths to discharge the battery.
I always use, and have always used, the cut-off, so your point explains it exactly.

I need cut-offs in every other vehicle apparently too it appears.

Re: Sitting 4+ years, checklist for resurrection...

Thanks, I seem to fight battery issues constantly. Seems like every year I put batteries in something. I’ll get that straightened out and soldier on... I have the same issues with my other two and four wheel vehicles and the a perpetual battery of the month club. The 710K batteries nearly 10 years ...

Two of these seems a good investment (EverStart Maxx Group 27) in your project:

Re: Pinzi SSI

I set mine between 0.75 mm -- 0.8 mm, which is within the range of the PinzSSI recommendation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr9J3eQk-kE Yeah, the reason for the q is that isn’t in the range of the current doc. I was curious why it appeared to change over time. I get that it might not matter much...

Re: Pinzi SSI

The current set of instructions say gap the plugs to .6mm (.023") to .7mm (.027").

Elsewhere in the forum are references that the gap should be .032" (.81mm).

What's the info behind the differences?

Re: Pinzi SSI

For those wondering about the fit of the current PinzSSI on Austrian rehab updated models, the reduced area from the Austrian rehab seat belt mount does not really create any issues. Pic below of where it mounts (taken early in the install process). The new plug wires have to route over, under, arou...

Re: LED tail lights

I know this is an older post but I recently found some JW Speaker 265 LED tail lights on closeout at Headlight Revolution. Listed at $90/each. Before this, I had seen them closer to $160 ish each. I ordered a pair it took weeks to get them for some reason. I ordered on 25NOV. and just got them toda...

Re: Pinzi SSI

Has anyone done this on an Austrian pinz? After looking at this picture I realize my seat belt mount sits right next to where the coils are.. Worried that they will hit. Looks like nobody ever answered this. I have a similar questions if anyone has any learning experiences on the Austrian (rehab) i...
