Re: Tools for spark plugs
Yes, sort of the generic one I got from SAV, basic plug wrench with a pin. Probably 6" long if I go find it in the toolbox.

Re: Tools for spark plugs
#1 is the critical tool (length) that makes the process easy. Longer tools don't fit, shorter won't work. I don't think the originals are readily available, are they? I remember getting sort of a generic from SAV.

Re: New Headlights and Turn Signals
Nice looking headlights, I have been curious about upgrading my headlights and would love to know where these came from and how they look. I know LED's tend to be bright, so figure they are probably pretty nice. I think these are #757 of 7″ VX Series LED Headlight, along with part #5556 to throw bo...

Re: An extinguisher for Christmas?!
I have about four extinguishers located at various points on my 710. Cheap protection Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk I think my count is up to about the same on my K. One aft, one in the pax compartment, a bottle and an element stick extinguisher in the cab. 40-50 year old vehicles are not to...

Re: 710K roof rack
Thanks for the info. Talking with the guys @ Frontrunner, they changed their leg design and don't have those in the pic any more, plus all their G parts seem to be sitting on the dock awaiting customs at present. I have time. After my careful measurements they think their current short leg is a hair...

Re: Tools for spark plugs
Thanks for that ebay link. I had zero issues with the OEM spark plug wrench adapter, and was easily able to put my torque wrench on the end of it to ensure proper tightness. Even the rearmost cylinder wasn't an issue. Uncle Steyr thought about this it seems. It's only the Austrian rehabs that have ...

Re: Spark plug wire tool?
I think the best tool is that mil right angle thing modified to be the same shape, only 3 inches shorter.

Re: Bed Liner -- Good or Bad?
While I don't have any bed liner in my pinz, I get that it can look good. My non-pinz truck had factory bed liner and its a great look but hard on knees. Similar to Paul's stall mats, you might check out bedrug (bedrug.com). I have one of these in my pu truck and use one of their mats for working un...

Re: 710K antenna mount caps?
Has anyone come up with a solution to flush-capping the 710K top antenna mount? I put the standard cap on mine but thinking about a rack project, I would like to flush cap mine and I think there is zero need to put the antenna back on. The Marine-Grade Moisture-Resistant Polyethylene (HDPE) looks go...

They're out of stock on G racks. I sent them a note but they read email once per week.

Sounds like the perfect and re-configurable solution.VinceAtReal4x4s wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 11:42 am That's the beauty of their design- Make it longer, shorter, add a huge array of stuff that bolts onto it and wont fly off, no bungees or bullshit, and far stronger than they look.. and its extruded aluminum so no rust, ever!
