Re: Any 710 owner with a tape measure!

Sorry not able to help with any measurements - I own Haflinger! I would just like to point out that there is no attached photo therefore, no one knows what measurements you want.

Re: Pay monthy for your car's options??

Heated seat subscription circumvented by new wires from the fusebox to a switch and direct the headed seats wiring, turn on an off when you want. if you want a little bit more control, variable resistor in the circuit to adjust heat level.

Re: 1972 Steyr Puch Haflinger 500

If you have managed to get a set, then get them copied - a metal fabrication shop is likely to charge you less then what you are going to pay for a set of "original" doors if you can find another set. They have become very rare.

Good lick.

Re: Pesky brake springs

Have you tried going the other way round? I.e. put the little brake spring in the brake shoe, then use a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the end that goes into the backing plate. You can use a wire loop to do the same job. Pull the brake spring up to the point where you can use a screwdrive to pu...

Re: Not much safety in a Haflinger

I think I am going to look into putting a heavier duty roll bar on mine and 4 point seat belts. Although it has four seats I have yet to take any one else in the back two seats - partly because they arn't finished, but they are not finished because I don't have a reason to carry people in them! I am...

Re: How do you remove the fan from the dynastarter? Anyone have a spare?

The simple answer is with some difficulty... Actually, if you have suitable tools, it shouldn't be too bad to remove. It is basically just pushed on to the shaft which is a taper with a Key way so Undo the nut whilst the Dynastart is still on the Haflinger as that will hold it nice and steady whilst...

Re: purchased a Pathfinder that came with tubs o' parts

If it weren't for the cost of the shipping, I would be after the Flywheel, clutch plate and clutch pressure plate, maybe the Dyanstart as well depending on the cost.
