Has anyone heard from Jim LaGuardia lately?

I've been trying to get in touch with him for a while now about boring out my cylinders and swapping out the pistons with Arias and possibly the camshaft grind as well but I am not getting any replies...

thank you..

Re: Lift body off from the drivetrain

why not just put some tube up under the beam to support the vertical weight, brace it all to the walls, then lift the complete body with that Because I like to make things more complicated and time consuming than they need to be  Well it is not my garage actually and so I didn't want to make a...

Re: Lift body off from the drivetrain

Hi guys, thank you for the replies. And hello Christopher - yes I remember you and thanks for the offer to help me! I might take you up on that.. I have seen the photo of how GUT lifted that truck and I thought maybe the tub would be strong enough to be lifted even closer to the front somewhere.. Th...

Lift body off from the drivetrain

I have a 712K that is leaking in several spots at the drive train. Also the transfer case bearings might be going bad (there is some play at the input shaft where the cardan shaft is bolted on - I am guessing that this is not normal) I am planning on taking the axles off and replacing the boots and ...

Re: Pull to left when braking

Mine started pulling to the right when braking hard - for me the problem is a leaking left front cylinder. I ordered new seals from EI but I am still trying to find a place that will reline the cylinders with stainless steel sleeves before I pull it out. It might not be necessary though but I read h...

Re: New WA pinz owner

Welcome to the forum.. The tan 712 in Ballard that you saw was probably mine - I have an Austrian 712k. I have seen a camo 710K driving around here before too and the owner apparently lives in Ballard as well.. I am in the same boat as you trying to take care of rust spots and leaks. If you want to ...

Re: sound deadening ideas

I had a thick rubber mat in the back of mine which helped with the noise but water always seemed to be trapped under it - I took it out for now. Here is something that I noticed while checking out the Gut Automobile's hunting Pinzgauer project: http://www.gut-automobile.ch/assets/0000/4332/Motorraum...

Re: 710k for sale

Ballard.... Welcome to Washington! I just found out that there is a here-to-for unkown (to me) 712K in Ballard. Seems my tile guy (bathroom remodel) lives just down the road from that one. I'll have to make a trip there to find him. I hope our new owner posts here so we can meet up. Imagine a treff...
