Brakes don't work.
I have a Swiss 710K. After setting a few months, the R front brake has leaked all the fluid from the L fluid reservoir. I am rebuilding the brake reservoirs. The problem is, the R fluid reservoir is full, but the pedal goes to the floor and pumping the pedal doesn't help. Is this a master cylinder p...

Re: Pinz SSI stopped working
The box beside the coils is a relay. I take 12v off of one of the batteries.

Pinz SSI stopped working
My SSI has worked perfectly for several years, but I parked my 710k for a month and now it doesn't get spark to the plugs. I think I have Gen 2 SSI. It has 4 coils and a relay on the metal plate. I have 12v to the relay. I cleaned the wheel at the distributor, but I never see the led light up as I t...

Re: ITB Fuel Injection System
It looks like the seals I need for the throttle shafts are $25 each, plus shipping and customs. At this rate, I could do FI and make payments to the credit card instead of monthly payments to carb mechanic.

Re: ITB Fuel Injection System
I had them rebuilt about 4000 miles ago before I left the U S. And I have the SSI ignition. I have had them worked on 3 times in Peru, now the rear carb seems to be leaking around the throttle shaft. Also, it would be nice to get better fuel mileage since gas is so expensive here.

Re: ITB Fuel Injection System
Does anyone know what bike the FI system came from? Gas is $4-5 a gallon in Peru and my carbs are a constant source of problems.

Re: Batteries not charging
Thanks for the suggestions. It was a loose Molex connection. Once we cleaned it, the batteries started charging.

Batteries not charging
I've searched, but I can't seem to come up with the right search words. I have a 710K with increased amps alternator and electronic ignition. While driving home on 5 miles of pavement after bouncing around in the desert, engine quit 4 or 5 times. At steady speed it was like I turned off the key. It ...

Re: Shipping Pinz out of US
I'll know in a day or two what daily storage charge is, and talk to the Customs again, but I'll probably have to cut my losses and do something else.

Re: Shipping Pinz out of US
I didn't know this would happen, so I went to Colombia to wait for the Pinz. I'm there now, but I may have to go back and do something different.

Re: Shipping Pinz out of US
Thanks for the info. As soon as shipper gets back to work I will get started. What if I drive it to Panama and ship from there? Would that be simpler?

Shipping Pinz out of US
I am trying to ship my 710k from Houston to Colombia for an extended vacation, but it has been on hold since Dec 8with US Customs while they decide if I need an export license for a military vehicle. I have a clear Florida title, but they want a bill of sale too. I can't post pictures, bUT it doesn'...
