Re: Eberspacher Exhaust Length and blower requirement

There is an ejector on my swiss 710K and the length of the second part is 115 cm. All is standard.

Re: Oil in witches Hat on the rear end.

I have had the same problem, despite new gaskets...

I decided to install a little drain valve to check easily the amount of oil leaking from the witches hat: so I know when to add oil in the rear differential.

Cheers, Jacques

Re: clutch life left?

Both clutch discs were worn down to the rivets when they were replaced but were still working just fine with no slippage. Sorry to be a little less enthousiastic: during my last journey in Iceland, my clutch was worn out and was terribly slippery. I couldnt drive any more and I had to order and cha...

@ texas 710:
No problem with this system. I am not the only one to use it, I found the idea on the german Pinz forum!

Re: Fuel Pump Rebuild?

I was tired of cranking a long time before starting (the starter too...). So I've installed a hand pump (the same as for outbord motors): so I press a little to fill in the carbs... and the engine runs immediately.

Re: manual winshield washer pump

I think that the suction side has a check valve too: unfortunatly it's often stuck and the pump doesn't work. I found a solution: dip the entire pump one night in water with a little wash liquid: my pump worked perfectly after that...

I take it, then, that the desk seats are NOT easily foldable/removable?
The desk seats are easily foldable, the back is articulated as the front seats.
