Re: Ignition Timing

I am confused. I thought the SSI was statically set at TDC, red light on, and the SSI module did the rest. No need to adjust anything else. Am I missing something?

Sounds like my input is a little late but I used nutserts if that would help anybody in the future.

Re: Security Questions

I just registered. For the question I used google translate then looked up the answer; fairly easy. But, despite choosing "english" version of the site, all of the forum posts are in German. Is there any way to get it in English without using google translate for every page? Thanks!

Re: WTB 710K Table and/or hardware

So another year has gone by and I still have not obtained a table or hardware for my 710K. I have had a couple possible leads and some who have sent dimensions but no product. Time has not allowed me to pursue making something; retirement may help that problem. But, I thought I would post this up ag...

Re: Fat Fabrications

I wish he (and others) was closer. Here in Indiana Pinzgauer knowledge is quite limited. One is pretty much alone on figuring things out and often I am at a dead end. Enjoy!!

Re: Portable light

Although not really authentic to the Pinzgauer, I have bought a couple surplus 24v Hella work lights that I like a lot. They have a magnetic base so obviously it will attach anywhere I wont them on the Pinz. I have a K version so I converted the light's original plug to a pingauer 2 pin used for the...

Re: Best Book for Amateur Radio Technician license

I am a bit tardy to this discussion. Life gets busy so I have not been on the forum for a while. I had the same problem of being able to memorize all of the answers using the online study tests/flash cards and a good recall of past physics classes but I did not really obtain a basic understanding of...

Re: Bikmakr's/mule expedition winch mount

A closer review of the photos and the front of my Pinz has answered my own question, Thanks.
It appears that this could be remedied with a little modification to the design allowing for it to be spaced out to the front of the bumperettes.

Re: Bikmakr's/mule expedition winch mount

I am confused as to why the stock bumperettes can not be used. Apparently this bolts in the same place. Is there not enough clearance behind the mount? I really like this mount but not using the stock bumperettes is a big negative for me. Also wondering if the stock pin can take the place of the bol...

Re: WTB: 710K Antennas w/ Base

Yes, I have read your post about your antennae. Do you have a photo of your AT-1011 in driving mode? I see pic with it upright in that older thread. It looks long to just pull back over the Pinz. And, I would be interested in your loading coil and the radio/ antenna tuner you use. Perhaps this is re...

Re: WTB: 710K Antennas w/ Base

Thanks Ron! I am just thinking about getting into HF as you can tell by my question suggesting inexperience. I am surprised that it only offers the three civilian bands. If I do HF out of the Pinz I guess I will be parked most of the time and could just put up a separate vertical antenna or wire. Or...

Re: WTB: 710K Antennas w/ Base

I believe those antennae covered the 30-76MHZ HF. I wonder if anybody has tried using a civilian HF rig such as a Yaesu 857 or 450d with them. Or if one thinks it would be worth the effort to try to get them to work.

(obviously I am directing this to Rmel. )
