Since I made a promise to take more pictures, here's what that looks like.

Re: Austrian Door Uppers
You'll have to weld on the receiving plug on the lower door. This top attaches with no screws or bolts and is clearanced around the handle.
The stabbing rods (I think) are in the same position but substantially shorter, so that extra support is important.

Re: Swiss vs Austrian Pinzgauers - Difference Thread
I don't think the aux heater was standard. Mine does not have one. Also, my passenger door locks, but does not have a keyed lock. It's all in the handle position. If that door is locked, there is no way to unlock it from the outside. I do also have the automatic warm-air flapper in my intake. For pi...

Re: Swiss vs Austrian Pinzgauers - Difference Thread
Yes! I can help contribute! I have a neighbor with a Swiss and I've been trying to compare... I can tell you the wiring is at least minimally different. The designation for the breakers and fuses vary, at least that's what I'm told. Austrian windshield is very different. My soft top attaches with la...

Re: Pinz suddenly won't idle
Oh wow, I'd only mentioned the 'uniqueness' because I'm having trouble finding replacement pieces for my somewhat ratty top. All Pinzes rock :) if I could have my way, I'd get the Swiss breakers, Swiss heater, Austrian body reinforcements, Austrian wiper style, Austrian door latches with Swiss glass...

Re: Pinz suddenly won't idle
But how will I add to the mystery of my Pinz with it's unique top and doors?!

Re: Pinz suddenly won't idle
My fuse box actually says this is the fuse for the idle cutoff. I meant that as a joke actually, bad humor. I'm almost certain it's my wiper causing issues, it hasn't been working well at all and today was rainy. I have no idea who said 'For breaker 8, lets do the air blower.... wiper motor... oh, a...

Re: Pinz suddenly won't idle
Oh awesome! I had no idea the fuel cutoff solenoids did that! I always thought it was for cutting fuel when the keys turns off... I guess I shouldn't interpret literally. The 'functional' condition is +24V when ignition on? Do they turn off above idle or always on when ignition is on? the transition...

Re: Pinz suddenly won't idle
Could you provide more detail on this?
I've only ever seen the fuel cutoff solenoids. And when I'm aobve 2k RPM it runs great, so whatever the condition is, it happens on both carbs.

Pinz suddenly won't idle
So I just parked the Pinz and have not had the chance to pick it apart. I was driving around town, it was running awesome, and then as I slowed to a stop it just died. I was able to restart it with a little throttle and when I let off, it died again. I got it home by keeping it at roughly 1/2 thrott...

Re: 4x4 Expo in Baytown, TX
Maaaaaan... Y'all all missed an AMAZING afternoon!! 99% of vehicles were Jeeps. Lot of fools hitting the mud put with 2wd, blocking the course to take pictures, and loads of general public stupidity. But it was a hoot and I can't wait till next year. Pinz did AWESOME. I stayed fully aired up, factor...

Re: Clutch master cylinder crossover
It's very very basic. I'd be willing to bet it crosses with something... I searched high and low though and couldn't find any info :( It almost appears that the MC for the locker could bolt up. Its the exact same style, but much longer and smaller ID. My point is though, that swaps with a more commo...

Re: Electric steering for 710/712s
Can the knee guard still be installed without having to modify it?
Will there be a possibility of selling pre-fab parts (steering shaft/column) and shipping the assembly for bolt-in installation?
Looks slick!
