Re: Running rich. How to "lean out?"

My 710k came with the 140 mains and 60 idle fuel jets when I got it from the PO in California. Those are the largest jets (most fuel) available to us. Im at about 5000 feet at home and travel to over 9000 ft for camping. I am switching to the 125 mains and 55 idles which are the smallest (least amou...

Re: Engine Oil... Again

Found Valvoline 20W-50 "Race Oil" at my local Napa, on the back it says "high zink formula also protects push-rod and flat tappet engines". I talked to my local BG distributor about his oil and the valvoline and he actually said valvoline was the "next best thing" to hi...

Re: After market V-belt pulley

Im about 90% sure I read that those pulleys were fabricated and not available through any aftermarket outlet. I was also thinking about another pulley to add A/C to my K for those hot summer days :|

Re: Carb jetting

Well im about ready to change my main and idle jets in my K and was told by Dave at L.E. I would want to go from what he was sure was the 140 main to the 125. I purchased my pinz from Cali at sea level and plan to operate here at anywhere from 4 - 11,000 feet. I was lucky enough to get the jets from...

Re: A cage built for the pinz and added a winch

SAV has a good pic of what might happen when you roll over. I have the K model which I have made seating for my 6 kids in the back and think a cage would give a little bit more resistance to collapse of tbe sides and roof pannels further protecting my family. Also with all the seating added I have l...

Re: A cage built for the pinz and added a winch

I really like that cage! Was thinking of doing something like this with my K but not sure about the added weight making things more top heavy. Where I like to go with mine is pretty sketchy already with the lean it has getting through some of the trails. I would love a little extra protection if I d...

Re: My first REAL 4x4!

Yep mirrors are definitely a consumable lol. I did fin a nice cheap replacement from NAPA for $15 and mounts for $6. Not as nice as the original ones as they are a flat glass and not 1/2 convex but they will do for now. If anyone wants the part number I'll gladly post them up. Still working on getti...

NEW seat back support straps.

Well I bought 12 new seat back support straps (#49 on the pic) from SAV about a week ago and decided to go a different route with seating. SAV has them for $7.90 each (which I paid) and I'll let them go for $7 each plus any shipping costs. Also have the original desk for my 710k that I removed if an...
