Re: air compressor solution

uh ho - we are going to start the 12v from 1 battery discussion now  I hope not. I do a fair amount of work with 120/240V. I also employ the use of a few 48V golf carts and utility vehicles. I don't understand why someone would jeopardize their electrical system or their batteries by avoiding...

Re: air compressor solution

Excellent. Thank you both for the recommendations. Barring the use of air tools (I am not usually going to be in the outback, far away from civilization) I still think an onboard compressor is the way to go for my needs. Any recommendations?

Re: air compressor solution

It's an old thread but the newest one I could find. The price of filling my 20lb CO2 tanks at work is closer to $30 these days. We use them all the time for welding and a plumbing freeze kit. I'm looking hard at an onboard compressor. I like the idea of a tank but when you run out, you run out. How ...

Re: Sound Control: General theory and Pinz specific issues.

Really great to information Vince, spot on description of sound wave cancellation. Thank you for all the vendor info as well. You repeatedly mention using caution when covering flat (bottom) surfaces to over rust cover, how did you attach the floor panels in the cab, are they affixed or removable?

Re: 710M or 710K?

I admit the 712 is tempting and there seem to be a lot t more available. I will really be untenable on the trails. Some spots are a little tight for the Ranger Crew. And no, I don't plan on putting obstacles in the trail just so I can use them to turn. Really good to know though if I get in a tight ...

Re: Buying my first Pinz, what to look for?

Absolutely correct. The CA Certification costs $2300. Delivery from anywhere a cross the country would be $600-1400 so let's say $1000. That adds $3300 to any vehicle I buy out of state. That's not a guess, that's $3300.

Re: 710M or 710K?

never been in a 710 but my 712 does have a tight radius. Seems to be about 38', which is maybe 8' wider than the 710. i'm always surprised how tight it whips around, and if you don't have enough space, just run over whats in the way  Running over the creek that is a 10' drop is not what I pla...
