710/712 Bumpers for Sale

SOLD!

In good condition (I removed these when I had a winch bumper fabricated).

$100 for the pair + shipping. This is roughly 1/2 of what a used pair is selling for on Swiss Army Vehicles - but Swiss Army is currently Out-of-Stock.

Regards,

Re: Front bumber

I also have a set of bumpers, if you are still in need.

Re: New Headlamp bulbs

Paul, thanks so much for your very detailed instructions. I had a heavy duty wench bumper fabricated for the front and barely had access to the screws at the bottom of the headlights, which is probably why I initially overlooked them. Your right, once you learn the drill, the second should be easier...

New Headlamp bulbs

Ok, this will probably sound a little lame, but how do I change the bulbs in my Pinzgauer 710 headlamps? I just ordered new ones from SAV that should be a lot brighter. I researched the 3-ring Pinzgauer manual that came with my rig, but of course, the page I need is missing. Any suggestions/help is ...

Re: Tachometer going crazy

When I first bought this rig, the tachometer was all over the place. Then, after it was serviced a few years later, the tach worked great. More recently, I had some electrical problems where coils were being destroyed. After this problem was fixed, the tach was a mess again. I have a VDO tach. Unfor...

Tachometer going crazy

Hi, when my Pinz 710 is idling everything is fine, but at higher rpm's the tach goes crazy, bounces back and forth and shows readings that are much too high. Is there a resistor or something I can put in line to obtain normal readings?

Pinzgauer ax rubber latch

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement rubber latch/strap for the ax that resides below the passenger seat? I found the entire assembly at Swiss Army Vehicles for $45, but the only part I need is the rubber latch. Also, I lost my shovel on the Rubicon (clearly my fault, as I should have know...

1973 Pinz 710 Carb problem...

One of my 1973 Pinzgauer 710 carburetors (the rear one) is approaching the end of it's usable life and can no longer be tuned/calibrated properly. The shaft on the bottom half of the carburetor that connects to the accelerator linkage is so loose it leaks gas and sucks air, which makes it idle way t...

Re: Side cages / protection

How much do these cost (battery box side and fuel tank side...including the rub rails) for a Pinz 710?

Re: FS: Pinz 712M Rear Canvas - Used

I didn't need so much material, so I just purchased a Swiss Army rucksack on eBay (less material, but a lot less expensive).

Thanks for responding and the offer.

My Top is leaking!

Now that the wet weather is upon us (even in Northern Calif), my top is leaking and starting to rip by the support bars. I've brought it to a number of auto upholstery shops, but while they can do the work, they don't have any patching materials that comes even close to matching. That said, does any...
