Re: Rev limiter
Finally had time to monkey with the pinz...no start. Ended up being the flamethrower coil. Called Pertronix as the coil ohms ok on both primary and secondary. They confirmed my suspicions. Re-installed the military coil....ignition is fine once again. Bypassed the rev limiter to avoid future issues....

Rev limiter
Hello all, My 710K has been running like a top...very pleased! However in the last couple days I have had the ignition cut out intermittently at different rpms. I wish to bypass the dreaded rev limiter as I see other people have had issues with it at all rpms. Where is this located? I have not looke...

Eberspacher B3L C
Does anyone here by chance have a service manual for this?
Happy to pay for it.
I have already tried Eberspacher. Its obsolete of course and they could not provide one.
Thanks very much in advance!

Re: SSI issues
Thanks much for the offer Pinzinator! Unfortunately, I checked ALL of those things as well as everything else I could think of including quadruple checking voltages when off and when running, changing ground locations, adding extra ground to chassis, purchasing new batteries and completely removing ...

Re: SSI issues
Yes. Followed instructions to the "T". Even Re-installed in case I somehow missed something. Yes, I have also talked to Rick several times. When I was working in a shop as a mechanic for a living, there were several instances where we had something go amiss that no one could figure out...o...

Re: SSI issues
From posts here as well as from manufacturer of SSI, I time it to 2 degrees BTDC. To do so you must do the math to find how far from TDC each degree is. Then simply measure and mark 2 degrees BTDC or whatever your pinz runs best at. I should also mention to those who may respond, I have made certain...

SSI issues
Hello all, At the beginning of the year I purchased the SSI...with all the positive reviews (like everyone else) I thought it to be an awesome upgrade. Unfortunately, my Pinz has not run right since. I find that the timing is off by as much as 4 degrees after running it a while. I have proper voltag...

Intake tunnel insulation
Hello all!
Has anyone replaced the stock insulation/sound proofing in the intake tunnel? If so, what did you use and is it working well?
Thanks much...

Re: Fan belt nut seized??
Unfortunately, yes I am using the tool and yes I am turning the nut in the correct direction. I was shocked at how tight it is. I am not sure whether it is over torqued or seized as there is little sign of corrosion. That is not uncommon though if its rusted/corroded on the threads...

Fan belt nut seized??
Hello all, So, I decide to change my fan belt as the current one looks very rough. I cannot get the fan nut to budge! Even resorted to the 1/2" impact...no luck. I have of course already applied some lube in an effort to get the nut to break loose. Before I get medieval on this I would very muc...

710K Transport
Hello all, I may be picking up a 710K next weekend and trailering it home. This is my first one so I would like to know the best way to anchor vehicle on trailer. I have done quite a bit of trailer hauling with some large loads. However any advice would be helpful...what to avoid etc. Learning the h...
