My front seat quest
I looked at and tried many seat options for the pinz and just wasnt thrilled about any of them. Too big, looking out of place, no offroad support...all issues that kind of irked me. I found that PRP makes a seat for the Manx or buggy type vehicles called the roadster. Comes in 3 different configurat...

Re: Parking Brake issue after replacement
I took it apart again and measured the pre-lined pads and they came out at 13mm. The replacement pads only that you rivet to the plate measures the same 13mm (with plate) so its not the width of the pre-lined pads. I took an old disc that was quite worn that measured 9.4mm and installed it closest t...

Parking Brake issue after replacement
I bought a 710m with a parking brake that did not operate. I put off the repair for a long time but got around to it this week. The job of getting everything off was a lot easier than I thought it would be and it revealed the issue. The pull arms and the pull fork were fused together and it was full...

Pinzgauer on side of the road, I-75 in GA
Barreling up I-75N (Georgia) in the left lane today I saw a Pinz on the side of the road. Normally I would have stopped, but I was in a loaded down RV and there were 2 other vehicles off the road behind it so I was hoping help had arrived or possibly the pinz had stopped to help someone. Im just cur...

Re: New off-road GPS coming
Ive been looking at it....really like that it pairs with the inreach and the case. Ive really been enjoying the magellan trx7. I used it in the Pinz then moved it over to a ktm 500 exc because the offroad features are much better than my garmin montana 650 or the zuomo 525. Garmin sure is proud of t...

Re: Trailering a 710?
Ive towed the pinz's with a 2016 f-150 and a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser. F-150 did fine, but when the load gets that heavy (well below factory limits), Id still rather pull them with a 3/4 or a ton truck. The 80 series landcruiser has a tow capacity of 5,000lb. After a short tow, I saw why. Just becaus...
