Re: Rubber shock cord

Well that’s part of the problem is that I would like to have it on hand when I get tearing into it as it won’t fit in my garage.

I just figured somebody must have done in in the past and knew how many feet I needed to order.

Rubber shock cord

So in trying to put my top back down the other day I broke my very dry rotted shock cord. I see that SAV has replacement sold by the foot. How many feet would I need to do a complete replacement and is there a better option? I was looking at black bungee cord but not sure which would hold up better ...

Re: Ohio 712M Buildup

tgreening: Do you have the heater mounted in any way? I was thinking of making a mount to mount it on the cab divider screen. Do you have any issue with it shutting itself off from tripping the "tip over" safety? TechMOGogy: A hammock while comfortable and easy for one gets more complicate...

Re: Ohio 712M Buildup

For low power stuff that runs off USB get yourself one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JZ5YXP4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 On the left side of the dash just to the left of the instrument panel is a small socket it will plug right into. There is a pull swi...

Re: Cab divider question

They certainly look like rifle racks and that was my first thought but mine only came with one set of them so it wouldn't be very effective :D

Now I feel like I need to find another one

Re: Cab divider question

While on the subject of “what the heck are these?” What are the lighter green rifle rack looking things visible in your second photo on the left hand side? My truck has one set of them located more towards the back on the left side but I have no idea what they’re for and the manual yielded no results.

Re: Cab divider question

Thanks for the quick reply and photos! So the hooks just go into holes and not footman loops then? So what are the footman loops for? (Mine are missing) Like I said, it’s cold and vinyl isn’t very pliable to play with so I didn’t want to mess with it if it wasn’t a possibility. So you just fold back...

Cab divider question

Forgive my ignorance but it's cold and the vinyl isn't real pliable so I thought I would ask before I tried it. So I was looking at my new to me 710M and noticed the rolled up cab divider in my truck. I thought this would be awesome in the winter to try and keep the little bit of heat in the cab. Wh...

Intercom

So I have been reading through threads and am now thinking I need an intercom system. I would prefer something easy to set up and little modification needed but also in keeping with the spirit of the vehicle. I would be using it with kids so something that doesn’t require a “push to talk” would keep...

Re: Clutch fluid disappearing

Yeah, I figure if I'm tearing down the system anyway and bleeding it I may as well do the master and slave and hopefully not have to worry about it for a while. Total parts cost will only be about $60 and not much work. I did find great thing to fill the reservoir though. I was looking for a funnel ...

Re: Clutch fluid disappearing

Thanks for the replies! I have a friend who used to restore military vehicles for a living and he came down to look at it and help me bleed the clutch. He was baffled as well without a visible leak anywhere and thought maybe there was a chunk of something that got pushed past the seal and caused an ...

Clutch fluid disappearing

Forgive the ignorance of my post as I’m new to the Pinz world. So the one day I went to take the Pinz for a spin and clutch went straight to the floor. Reservoir was empty. Master and slave cylinder were both dry so no external leaks. I had noticed what I thought was engine oil spots under the truck...
