Re: Running rich. How to "lean out?"
Thanks for the information on this post. I just moved from 600' elevation to 8000' (northern NM, should be mostly operating between 6000'-8300') and truck is not driving well. I am planning to change out my jets as described in this post. Can you please confirm what I need to order (from SAV)? Main ...

Re: Bronco?
Mr Zero, Thanks for the valuable feedback. Pinzgauer setup is ultimate for overlanding, so would be great if I am confident enough (or personally sufficiently capable) for it to be as so. Interesting about conversion to 2.7L + EFI, I don't know about this - I will need to research it. Are you locate...

Re: Bronco?
Yeah, I was considering to buy Bronco. I am currently overseas on military deployment, and they have a great program which permits me to buy new vehicle at discount and ensure availability. I bought my Pinz not too long ago and was/am hoping for it to be daily driver and expedition vehicle. But real...

Hand Winch
Does anyone have recommendations for a Hand Winch? I rarely, if any, have need for winch, so is cumbersome, expensive, and more complicated for a full electric winch system. If/when needed, I could handle the extra time and muscle required for a Hand Winch. And I suppose in addition to recovery, it ...

Re: New Member in Las Vegas Area
I am regularly in Vegas as I am in the Air Force Reserve unit there, but my home and Pinz is in Texas (soon to be NM).

Re: Car cover for the Pinzgauer
I just received my Heatshields for the windshield and front side windows for my 710M. They had me draw a template and send it back to be custom made. If you would like to order based off the template I made, you can contact them and use the part number of "000-epstein". Or you can draw you...

Re: New 710M owner in Dallas, TX
Dokatd, yeah I was on Preston yesterday evening! Do you have a Pinzgauer? If so, we should meet up. I am still learning. Fentonite, yeah, I was originally thinking I wanted the color of all Green. But now I do really like the color scheme that I have (tan and green)! Hopefully you acquired the 710M ...

Re: Questions - new to Pinzgauer - about to maybe purchase 710K
Thank you very much for all the valuable feedback. So yesterday I finalized my decision and purchased a 710M from Andre at Fat Fabrications. Just before completing purchase with Andre, he posted on his facebook someone else selling a 716; I called the owner and considered it, but realize as a first ...

New 710M owner in Dallas, TX
Yesterday I purchased a 710M from Andre at Fat Fabrications! I live in Dallas, Texas (although may be moving as considering new career options) and am excited to join the Pinz community as I am a first time Pinz owner. I look forward to connecting with you to learn more about the Pinz. So I will be ...

716 for sale in NM *not mine"
I was planning to purchase a 710M from Fat Fabrications last week and a couple of days ago he shared on his facebook this 716 for sale in NM. I was originally thinking to buy a 716 and called the owner to discuss and it seemed good. But I remained with my current plan to buy a 710M (completed purcha...

Re: Questions - new to Pinzgauer - about to maybe purchase 710K
Thanks for all the input. Seems like what I am looking for is the 716; higher max speed, more user friendly as daily driver. I suppose I could pre-order common wear parts to have on stock, so I can repair without too much down time. I am not in a rush to purchase, so can wait until one is for sale. ...

Re: Questions - new to Pinzgauer - about to maybe purchase 710K
What is the max speed of the 716? What speed can you cruise down the highway for prolonged time? (safety and mechanics) And is there 716 in Automatic (not manual)? Are all 716s less noisy, or has been modified? 716 seems better than 710? Any disadvantages to the 716 (other than perhaps harder to fin...
