Thanks for responding Mr Zero. I especially like the idea of having the rebuild kits.

Re: Pinzgauer Travel Spare Parts

Thanks for getting back to me Mike. I'll be adding to my carry list. Good recommendation also for the voltage regulator & ignition coil.

Pinzgauer Travel Spare Parts

Hello all, So I've got my 76 Swiss 710k in February of this year. Scheduled time with Andre during his spring east coast tour to give it a look over. Learned so much (thanks Andre) and realize restoring & keeping these amazing vehicles in good running condition takes time, a bit of investment &a...

Re: 24v Warn winch fully restored!

Hello Vince,
Do you have any 24v pinzgauer ready winches available? I'm still looking for my 710k. Already have a Fat Fabrications mount so well made from Andre. Please let me know. You have my email.

Best,

Re: Pesky brake springs

I got a drum brake tool kit off of Amazon. Has spring & adjusting tools. Not the best quality but functional. I had a kit similar years ago but with disk brakes didn't need it. Loaned it out or lost it over time. Really saves alot of time & aggravation. Very affordable. Highly recommend it.

Re: Swiss 710k Wheel Cylinder Seize

It great getting help from people who have "been there done that" with this vehicle. The forum is such a wealth of information & contacts. Really makes ownership & maintenance easier than going it alone. I'm from Glen Mills PA. About 30 miles south of Philadelphia. Thanks for your ...

Re: Swiss 710k Wheel Cylinder Seize

I feel the same way. These really look like the original cylinders. At 46 years old & one seized I'll just replace the pair & the lines at the hub. Better to play it safe.

Thanks for your feedback. Great to hear from someone who's been down this road already.

Swiss 710k Wheel Cylinder Seize

My 76 Swiss 710k was pulling a bit to the left during more aggressive stops. Not severe but concerning. Also my drivers side wheel was hotter when checked. After a drive I pulled that wheel & it was definitely snug & hard to turn. At that time I couldn't get the drum off as I didn't have the...

Re: Fuel Solenoids...

Thanks for the fix options! I'll bet I hit the solenoid with the doghouse. Pulled it off to give the engine a chk over before the trip home. Bumping those leads is way too easy to do. I had a couple of tense moments driving through long tunnels having it miss & backfire. Appreciate the workaroun...

Re: Fuel Solenoids...

All, Just resurrecting this aged ( but helpful) post on fuel solenoids. I recently got back from a 1000 mi + trip. During which my engine started missing & backfiring on the way home. I installed Rick's excellent SSI system & have been running great wit it. Making me all the more frustrated ...

Re: Maloya tires

Thanks for your response & information. I'm looking into going with the transit rims. They seem affordable & readily available. Also receiving a lot of Pinz owner endorsements. Great to have your tire endorsement as well.

Re: Maloya tires

Hi ChickenPinz,
Can the Falken's be mounted to the stock rims or do you need the Ford transits?

Thanks,

Re: 76 Pinz 710k Highway Travel

Thanks guys for your valued experience & feedback. I'm getting to know this vehicle but still so much to learn. Andre's visit & communication with other owners is a huge help. Before even getting my Pinz I ordered & reviewed all of the manuals. Upon receiving it I was pleasantly surprise...
