Flex metal duct would stand the high temperature, but would radiate heat freely [lose heat on the way back to the cab]. ...

I used the hose linked below - worked fine but was resistant to tight radius bends and therefore had to wrestle with it to get fitment. There are other choices on subsequent pages [General Purpose Neoprene-Coated and Silicone-Coated Fiberglass Duct Hose on page 206 looks like a good prospect] - cons...

So what's the deal - no pics of the new EFI or the baby Jesus will cry?

stock whimpy microbus style heat exchanger IMO this is a bit much.
