Mike It seems that only a few select 712's had the wheel chocks. They are the same units mounted on Unimogs. BTW: Saw your old Pinz up in Teluride at the RMP Treffen. Guys seems pretty happy with it. Hope you still make it to a Treffen every once in a while. Thanks for the word on my old Pinz Mike....

My 712 came with a wheel chock mounted behind the driver, don't they all? I used it faithfully whenever parked on any incline where I couldn't turn the wheels into a curb.

Check out the blueprints here. Like Dave said, the details don't match up (like the pintle hook), nor does the running gear. The subject vehicle looks like it's built on a jeep chassis.

No more sore neck?

I came across this product on another forum. It looks like a good idea for the Pinz.

I know the shoulder harness adds additional protection, however, to be legal whilst driving around with overhead removed, I simply replaced the OEM belt/harness with an aftermarket lap belt bolted to the lower mounting points of the OEM s...

Yesterday, my work took me to a new area of the training range (new for me anyway). Uncle Sam likes to use real vehicles for target, be they "old" military vehicles or civilian vehicles. On any range they first end up in a "target motor pool" Our office space at this particular t...
