Re: Soft Top Refurbishment

I need to do the same, but been dragging my feet to get it done. I appreciate your instruction and details that you provided. In retrospect, any thoughts on trying to do it while the top is still mounted on truck? What is the VHB tape for? Is it to hold the plastic in the channel while you sew? Than...

Re: Original Rims... throw them away? Free give away.

I'd be interested in them if you wouldn't mind holding them. I plan to be traveling to Ft Benning in early August and could pick them up.

Swiss Army Bicycle

Are there any pictures of a Pinzgauer carrying a Swiss Army bicycle (Condor)? Was there a factory bike mount or location for this or was there no reason for the Army to transport the bike by the Pinzgauer? Id like to find a rack to mount on the spare tire of a 710M, but wondered if there was ever a ...

trailer connector on Pinz

Are there easy, cheap, and successful ways to convert the 24V Pinz trailer connector to 12V to operate civilian trailers? I have multiple trailers that I'd like to be able pull with the Pinz that I'd still like to continue to have the ability to alternate pulling with civilian vehicles. I don't want...

Re: circuit breaker, again

They do push in against spring tension and spring back to the original position after depressing them. I kind of thought (and was hoping) that they might be OK. I didn't know if the rings had an alternative function.

circuit breaker, again

I have never had to reset any of the circuit breakers in my 710M yet, so I have not yet seen what they look like when they "pop". Currently working on some wiring behind the dash, I noticed that I have some of little plastic rings encompassing the buttons on the breakers (which make it snu...

power inverter question

Forgive my ignorance........ I was asked to pull a trailer for an upcoming parade with my Pinz. I was then asked if I could hook up a power supply to power a small sound system for the float. I have a 12V 400W power inverter that powers the sound system in question. The basic question is: can I just...

metal angle piece behind factory angle boot

I am changing out a cracked/leaking factory axle boot with a split type and when I removed the original, a small metal angle piece of metal fell out from the area where the axle casing mates to the stop ring. I previously replaced another boot and don't remember seeing this before. Can somebody plea...

Re: circuit breaker replacement

I got the dash apart over the weekend but still need more access to breakers. Next step is the steering wheel. Do you need a puller to remove the steering wheel, or is it just the nut holding it on?

Thanks,
Doug

circuit breaker replacement

I need to replace one circuit breaker that has failed (cannot re-set) and curious from those that have already done so or anyone that has had the dash taken apart, what is the process. Will I need to remove the entire dash panel or might I be able to remove the (6) screws surrounding the circuit bre...
