Re: WTB TGB1111
First and foremost, I am happy to recommend Thomas Schwagerl wholeheartedly. I would hesitate to repeat my first purchase from him and would gladly purchase a second (and third...) Volvo from him. As far as a fair price for an AluZn second generation TGB1111 with low miles, I have no clue. The price...

Re: Thoughts on 12V on a TGB
AppleTech, As you noted, doing a 24vdc to 12vdc can be a major undertaking trying to source 12volt C303 parts. Another option is to run a separate small 12vdc generator/alternator off of one of the two V belts. Obviously. one belt will have to be longer than the other and a mounting bracket will hav...

Re: Volvo B30
Can you post any photos os the passenger side of your motor?
It appears you have the divorced aluminum intake with the separate cast pair of exhaust manifolds. Is that correct?
Thank you for collecting the miscellaneous parts. Take whatever time you need.

Re: Electric power steering conversion
Kevin, I have watched numerous threads on a wide variety of power steering conversion on Volvo TGB trucks over the years. Electical assist, traditonal power steering boxes, hydraulic rams and the like. I have not seen anything specifically from the Fitzback Garage group. While getting either 45 or 6...

Re: WTB TGB1111
Through Facebook, you might wish to contact Thomas Schwagerl. He is the only person I know of that is currently bringing Volvo TGB trucks into the US as a business. I purchased a very nice LOW mileage TGB1314A from Thomas two years ago. Born and raised in Sweden, he seems to have very good sources f...

Re: WTB TGB1111
You may wish to expand your search into the Facebook Vovlo C303 and TGB page, Terrangbil.net and c303.de forums. There was a fellow in central Texas who had a couple about fifteen years ago. Name was Brad Zelinski. lived outside Dripping Springs, Texas. I have no contact info on him now. Best wishes...

You will likely be hearing from the owner of a Rebel Alliance 712K Pinzgauer who lives in Vanouver, WA.
See you THIS August...if not earlier.
Take care.

Re: Northwest Tech/Service Session with Andre of Fat Fabrications
Just curious. There is a home in Leavenworth with a Pinzgauer 710 and a pair of Swiss Army G-wagens. We drove by their place twice last October but, out of courtesy, did not stop to pound on their door. Tempted to be sure! A group of us have held two Haflingertreffen Nordamerika gatherings in years ...

Re: An extinguisher for Christmas?!
On our TGB11, we have one in the front cab, one in the middle passenger area and one on the inside of the rear door. On the TGB1314A trucks, there is one in the front cab, one mounted to the inside of the side door and one on the rear wall next to the rear door. We owned 1981 VW Vanagon Westfalia ca...

Well done Vince!
It is a shame the truck owner did not recognize the value of the gift you gave him.
Take care.

Re: Do you know this shop?
Pinc6x6, I second Vince's assessment wholeheartedly. I have been purchasing parts from Claes and his daugher, Sofia, for years with ZERO issues. Parts are of the highest quality. They ship via DHL and I have parts arrive in under 48 hours from their door to our farm in rural NW Oregon. Take care. Ji...

Re: Pinzgauer support mission near Detroit.
Andre, You live two hours from DFW. There are at least five daily direct flights from DFW to Detroit and back. The earliest departs Dallas at 6am CST and arrives Detroit at 9:30am EST. Seems to me that you could catch an early flight, have this person pick you up at the airport in her Pinz 710 and y...
