I have big tires and the extra weight of a 710K. I can start out in
second gear, but it seems to me that I´m slipping the clutch a little too much.
So I now always start out in first gear.

If others can hear a click when you press the PTT, then you are probably
transmitting Ok. Mike cords are notorious for going bad. See if you can
borrow a known working mike to try.

Jay....when you drilled out the old cap what was holding it in place? Did you damage the metal canister at all. Any part numbers? Miles Miles, I didn't drill out anything. A set of these just sold on eBay. I didn't see the final bid, but it was up to
somewhat over 150 Euros near the end.

I would have to agree that a hydraulic winch would be more reliable,
however, the Pinz has no place for a PTO and I doubt that a belt driven
pump (on the engine) would be able to develop the necessary pressure.

Hi Jake,

What about the oxygen sensor(s) on the exhaust header(s)? Not a big deal,
but still a modification that needs to be considered in the overall scheme of
things.
