If you are not into a military intercom the ones from AVCOMM work well. 800 845 7541 in Ca. Been using this system in my pinz for a years with great success. I have six headsets adn the built in model. I mounted it in the overhead console. The system will accept a 1/8 plug inlet for things like Ipod...

I take the shoes to a shop locally and have them relined. The first set I had made to fit a used drum. We have to take a little off the ends of the pads (small amount to match the inside drum radius) with a belt sander to get them to fit the newer drums. Now I have the pads fitted by the brake shop ...

I have the larger armored tank from Pinzparts on my 712 and while the exo cage protection bothered me at first it has grown on me. On my 710 I chose to armor the gas tank and leave the jerry can where it was. I have a real rear bumper combination tire carrier and dual jerry can holder on the back of...

OH man the Zil 131's have been on my wish list for some time. I just have not gotten around to buying a geiger counter yet. Seems some of these trucks don't make it through our customs as they are a little too hot. Still a great truck as are the Ural 4320's but then again they are both monsters in c...

ka, after looking at one I don't know how long I would wait to upgrade the engine/tranny. Would be real nice to have an automatic and all the torque a ford 300 efi straight six could provide. The one Mark just bought has an fuel injection system recently installed on it. When I helped the previous o...

Andy Each year there has been some sort of hotel/cabin near Treffen central. You need to get in touch with them and find out when and where as sometimes they book up fast. The hotel thing last year really made it easy to travel and not have to pack all the camping gear. I have to admit it was nice n...

ka The volvo has a conventional platform. Mark has the ability to look outside the box to fix things. If there were to be a major engine or tranny problem the simple fix would be to just put in a modern EFI straight six and matching tranny. The difference in the Volvo and the pinz is the conventiona...

not the exact truck but here is one similar http://www.volvoc303.com/html/vehicles_in_stock.html Of course the color has been changed and the rims were chromed by previous owner, but I am sure Mark will fix all that and make things right. Have you taken possession of both pieces yet? If you need hel...

Andy We have made the last 4 RMP treffens and plan on being there for the '09 treffen. It is always a good time. If there is anyway you can swing it, you will have a good time. Just be prepared for rain  I met one of your TX people (Pittman) there some years ago but he has not been doing as muc...
