I feel like Dave's windshield (and a new gasket), is one of the absolute best upgrades I've made to my 710.

It's quite the smoke plume from the southwest here in Orange County, too.

Re: Adhesive for windshield weather strip
I just replaced my windshield with one of the excellent replacements that Dave offers.
There is no sealant used if you have the proper weatherstrip. New ones can be had from our site sponsor: http://www.expedition-imports.com/7111720311.

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
My similar issue added a new behavior today. Circuit Breaker #5 popped when I switched the headlights on. So, I just unplugged the headlights altogether from the connector inside the housing. Checked the wiring and everything still looks fine with no insulator damage or anything. Turned on the headl...

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
I am having this exact issue as well. Can't wait to see what you figure out, because I'm pretty stumped at this point.

Advice on a Nissan shop around Orange County, CA?
Hey gang, One of my non-Pinzgauer vehicles is a high-mileage 90 Pathfinder. It's like a comfortable old pair of boots that I just can't bring myself to get rid of. Unfortunately, it's starting to get several things wrong with it, and I just don't have the time to tinker around on yet another vehicle...

Re: Doetsch tech shocks
I've been running them for a few years now on the 710 and it has definitely been one of the best Pinz purchases to-date.
Thanks again Scott!

Re: No electrical power to anything
I know this one! Unplug the main harness connectors under the dash, clean the terminals and plug them back together. I have found the terminals can corrode preventing contact. It is usually the connector with the large red wire. My money is on this. Mine sat for only a week once and the main connec...

Re: Starter Solenoid?
Well, I was being lazy and not removing the oil filter. Way easier job if you just yank that filter. Anyway, now that it's off I'm getting absolutely nothing on the bench test. No click, no bendix movement. Still showing approx. 24 volts out of the batteries. Solenoids seem like they might be hard t...

Re: Starter Solenoid?
Finally got back to this project... and, uh, anyone have suggestions for that top nut?
I got a crow's foot on there and managed about a 1/4 turn. Now I have no more angles to get at that thing.
Is that the clutch line sitting right on top in my way?

Re: Starter Solenoid?
Thanks guys, so far... ground strap is solid, no jiggling, no corrosion, battery terminals - check, voltage reads 23.7, it's a single click every time i push the button. Next step is bench testing. I fumbled with it for a bit, but am going to grab a cheap set of crow's foot wrenches before I mess up...

Starter Solenoid?
If I am just a getting a click without any starter motor activity, the best bet is solenoid trouble, right?
