Re: crankcase ventilation
Just remembered...without the airfilter, I put my hand on the suction inlet of the throttlebody (where the butterfly valve is) and it immediately killed the engine, so I know there is no airleak AFTER that and that is WITH the setup of the picture above, which indicates that the above setup does not...

Re: crankcase ventilation
OK one picture... It attches underneath the throttlebody, the 12 mm breatherhose is via a one-way-valve going before the butterfly-valve and the 'smothered' small 6 mm hose after the butterfly valve to "better airflow over the throttle body" Weather it all helps... I also have a small oilc...

Re: crankcase ventilation
Hi Pinz brothers... I have finalyy finished the Jake Raby's EFI kit and will write an article for the tech section. But that is also where I ran in the problem, where do I leave the breather hose that previously went to the two carburators to be re-digested and processed. Attached is a page from a D...

Re: crankcase ventilation
I also built a oil catch can in the breather tube and then fed it through a pcv valve, just before the throttle body valve, with a ‘smothered’ valve going behind the throttle butterfly valve, to balance the flow across the butterfly valve. Not sure if it is ok, but read on some site, that this was b...

Re: crankcase ventilation
Hi Jimmy Years later I am working on an EFI (Jake Raby's) and also wondered where does the air come IN the carterhouse ? There are 2 breather hoses, one from cylinderhead-4 and one from the top of the oil-filler post. I thought that maybe the one from the cylinderhead-4 was supplying air..., but it ...

Electric Pinzgauer ?
Pinz-bro's, The day of the electric car is is speeding towards us, with new regulations that ban diesel-SUV's already in certain cities in Holland, and petrol cars in future... How long before someone tries to put an electric motor in the Pinzgauer ? It should be possible and having a row of batteri...

Re: Writing and posting pics in a tech article
Same here, that is why I wrote it down, because I forget this stuff too.
I completely forgot we even had a tech sessions... I just searched for 'clutch-stuff' and went from there.
Old age problems, but the Pinz keeps us young !
Best regards,
Jules.

Writing and posting pics in a tech article
Pinz-bro's Now that I succesfully managed to post one tech article with pictures, I am now getting so cocky, that I think others are maybe interested in sharing some of my experiences... Please know, that I have no notion whatsoever, that I know anything about the content of tech articles, just what...
