Re: Finished.....710K before and after
And for anyone that doesn't believe it, check all the gaps around the your doors, and read Miles' thread on his truck rebuild , and on how he re-straighten the front clip alignment. That's a different post from the rebuild and can be found here: http://real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerBBS/viewtopic.php?f...

Re: Let's see some pics of your cabin divider
My Fire Bottle Halon System does not have a cautionary label for toxic fumes, but my personal sized Halon bottle does state that Halon MAY cause toxic byproducts when used to put out a fire. Well "MAY" is subjective to say the least and the alternative of letting it burn will cause toxic b...

First I am talking about the pictures in the first link by the original poster Vince, not any other links. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-vbJneTTiQTk/U-pYiFPhXbI/AAAAAAAAFmE/a4_HaybkQAY/s800/KiravanCG-1.jpg You can clearly see the error in mapping on the front fender and the two plates on the fr...

Re: Kiravan -Unimog based RV.. thing.
I stand by my statement they are all Computer Generated, even the cab shot. There is an error in the front fender surface mapping and the landscape is generated like that on google earth. The cab has light generated on the cab roof lining that is not possible from the lighting that is shown, where i...

You know this is not a real vehicle right. It's a concept done in computer graphics.

BIG THANKS TO RECON113 WTB Short piece of Original Door Seal
Thanks to recon113 I got the part needed.
I need about a 8-12" length of the original door seal for my door. Can be used if in good condition.

Re: Engine Cover Repair
Post a picture, that would help us give you better advice.
What ever you use it needs to be flexible to a degree as the original material is a little flexible.
My first thought would be SEM Brand Flexible Sem-Weld Product# 39927, It is a two part adhesive that remains flexible after curing.

Re: Thermal Cooking an Epoch-Making Cooking Concept
Mine came with a small booklet of recipes but they were all Asian dishes which is fine if you have access to a good Asian market. But the web has many sites with recipes, here are some of the best: https://thermalcooker.wordpress.com/category/recipes-all/ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4DB6...

Thermal Cooking an Epoch-Making Cooking Concept
So thermal cooking has been around for a while but the thermal cookers of today are more efficient compact and lighter than the home brewed fixtures. Why I love Thermal Cooking? Huge fuel savings and freeing up time monitoring my meals as they cook. The closest equivalent I can make to thermal cooki...

So I needed a platform to stand on while accessing the stuff in my roof rack and had some of this step grating. The platform is just long enough to be useful and designed to fit anywhere along my rails. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-rA2yBmMxvvk/U36A8Iz7EvI/AAAAAAAAFho/9-EYbz8f-dw/s640/Platform_...

Re: Simple Rear Step for those with a standard 2" Hitch.
Very nice! A clean and simple design. You should consider making them for sale. Any interest? I have no interest in making these as there are to many variables to make them fit all applications. My hitch is shorter than the others I have seen made, as I did not want to extend it out past the body. ...

Simple Rear Step for those with a standard 2" Hitch.
I made this to keep the rear step as simple as possible with no moving parts or springs. Construction is of 2" square tube and a short piece of 3"x1.5" rectangle tube. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Roxa0DS-GDo/U32Jm4YxMnI/AAAAAAAAFgs/tPb25li8yUQ/s640/SimpleRearStep_01.JPG All the...

Re: Miles Pinz Restoration Progress (pic heavy-milestone thr
One question: With extending the spare out like that, are you at all worried you'll tweak the rear door hinges by putting excess weight/torque on them? Also I hadn't considered a long box like that for locking storage... that's a damn eloquent solution. Better than the custom cabinet I was going to...
