Re: Made a new LED 3rd brake light

Nice job! Have you done any other work on your truck recently? We have not seen any progress posts in a while

What, Andre, you are interested in a Volvo? I'm shocked!

Re: New inventory of Windshields soon ( in time for Xmas) :)

Dave,
Did you ever come up with a Volvo C303 glass replacement solution?

The parts list doesn't come up. I might be interested in a few things if I could find out what you have.

Thanks,
Greg

Re: Volvo vs Pinzgauer Which is more of a "daily driver"

Yes, those would be considered long distances. I think the Steyr-Puch Haflinger is the most fun (much more than either a Pinz or Volvo) for short drives around town to get coffee, groceries, etc. On top of that, it is by far the easiest of all to fit into small parking places.

Re: Volvo vs Pinzgauer Which is more of a "daily driver"

I personally feel that the Pinz is a bit too noisy for regular use especially if you are driving long distances in it. The Volvo is quieter and is a little more capable for freeway driving. Both are fun, offroad capable, and get a lot of attention. The Pinz is easier and cheaper to get parts for (by...

Re: Intro from Malaysia - WR7002 - C304

It is looking great! I am curious why you chose to go with gull-wing doors and why so many. Are they intended to serve as awnings?

Re: Ca registered 74 710M for sale

Jim,
Wouldn't it have a greater chance of sale if it didn't have SoCal Pinz stickers on it? In some circles, those are the equivalent of swastikas

Re: Custom Camo Hannibal-Like Awning

I was asked who my favorite fabricator is on another forum--it is none other than Andre Swanson of Fat Fabrications (who has worked for a long time in the Pinzgauer/Unimog/etc community to have his work well-represented and admired throughout the US). He did a great job on this awning as well as the...

Custom Camo Hannibal-Like Awning

Due to a lack of awnings that were to my liking, I contacted my favorite fabricator to create a custom awning. After putting our heads together, we came up with an aluminum-framed, roof rack-supported (pole-less) awning that deploys and folds up easily and that fits in a compact case when not in use...

Re: Haflinger windshields

As an owner of a DSD windshield, I recommend it. Since I am tall and my Swiss Haflinger's windshield frame had rust issues, I had the frame tweaked to give me more headroom. I'm very happy that I did.
