I once had sparks coming out of the passenger vent. Not a lot, just every once in a while after having the heater fan on. After racking my brain I couldn't figure it out. I took off the vent hose and found a wad of napkins in it. I couldn't believe the heat would get so hot to ignite paper...It was ...

How have you set up the power for your Stero Head Unit

My head unit is draining my batteries. I don't drive the pinz very often and when I don't cut the power all together my batteries die with in 2 weeks from the small amount of power that the head unit is pulling. I have seen a few different ways to hook up a stereo head unit. One I have seen is that ...

Took off the strike plate and it was already shimmed. Looked original. I am just going to shim it a little more. I think that will fix the problem..

batterie talk

How do you guys maintain your batteries during the winter? I have 6 motorized vehicles with 9 batteries(pinz, 4 wheelers, lawn mower, RV etc) that all have batteries and I am tired of replacing them in the spring.

Do you use trickle chargers or what?

Thats a good possability. Even with that, the latches have never been that good. Maybe a shim would fix the problem.

So I run the civilian, but would run the military if I had lots of extra money
What did you do to correct the water problem. I think I have the same issue.

Yes, you need springs  I agree with you Jim, I do need springs. But even in your pictures with your axel almost free swinging, there isn't much room for travel for those shocks... I am assuming with the tire on the hub and the weight of the truck, you could be in the same position. Could the s...

One question with these Dutchtech Shocks. I installed mine and the exposed rod is is even shorter than the pictures that Jim posted. How much length is needed for the shock not to bottom out while performing? I havn't used them off road so I don't know if they bottom out yet. This may push me into d...

ah.... ! i wonder if i can do the antique thing in utah! Nope - Utah has tougher registration laws than even California. Instead of a rolling date to exempt a vehicle for emissions (like most states use), Utah has a set date. Pretty lame. Truck and Antique licence are not an option either. When I h...
