Seems like that's the fault of the armorer, not the vehicle, but I guess that's not important to the point of the article. Purpose-built armored vehicles like they're proposing cost something like 10x what standard vehicles do - but I guess when you have a blank checkbook you might as well spend as ...

Biased much? With the splashy headline and the repeated quotes, this article reads like pulp media. As I recall, the Army even uses Chenowth dune buggies as "fast attack vehicles" - are they also "death traps"? Maybe Iraq and Afganistan are the "death traps". Then again...

-Is it 4 wheel drive?
-Does it go offroad?
-Is it amphibious?

My favorite:
-Austria - you mean down under, like Crocodile Dundee?

And I still wonder why everyone asks the parts question. I think they just believe it's a way to make conversation about old cars.

Wow, walk away for a minute and it gets mean. I hope y'all will take that offline, I don't really need to hear it. Back on topic - I've had my Pinz for about twelve years now. Although I can appreciate what an awesome vehicle it is, I've never had adequate garage and maintenance space, and I never h...

I had one of the throttle levers unscrew and disconnect, recently. The truck really doesn't accellerate very well with one carb sitting at idle all the time.

Thanks, guys. The driveway needs to get emptied. I don't ever seem to have a chance to use the vehicles anymore. If I do - it's seeming like the Pinz isn't selling and while the Haf is fun, the Pinz is more practical for me. I'll see what response I get on the Haf. This is the only place I've advert...

For Sale? 1962 Haflinger plus trailer

I took the Haflinger up to the mountains this weekend, and tooled around in it; it was really fun, but I rarely get the opportunity to use it. It's a 1962. In great condition aside from a few dings and dents as shown in pictures. The engine and running gear are in great condition. Tires are good. In...

AAA may not be able to do the inspection, they couldn't for the Haflinger (though that was a lost title).

I was also able to get registered without much trouble - and that was with lost paperwork.

In CA, you can't really drive off-road (unless it's private property) without a license or green sticker - and it may be easier to license it.
