I had daydreamed of a removable camper with the cab over bed. What did you use for framing media. I had considered aluminum square tube for the frame, and the entire assembly fastened together with rivits as in air frames. Just cant justify the material cost for minimal weight gains.

Both are mine. The issue of opening from the inside are easily conqered with the correct door hardware provided you use an existing penetration on the truck. Look at door hardware in the mcmaster-carr catalog.

does anyone recall who was fabricating the oversized fuel tanks for the 710-12 m's. I remember a couple of variants that were available, just not familliar with the availability or cost.

Well thanks for the warm welcome. I will be in Leesburg. south of Mt. Pleasant, and W of Pitsburg. Provided the owners of the ranch didn't rent it out to another family. I may become a roving fabricator, "watch the police and the tax man miss me, I'm mobile!"
