It is a German ring mount. Probably have to remove the hatch cover as I do not think the hinge would work in conjunction with having this mounted.

Insured mine (710K) through the Hartford AARP insurance plan. No problem although I do have three vehicles total insured through them.

Question: How did you describe the Pinz? Mine is listed as a Steyr Damiler Model: Pinzgauer and my registration has it as a 5 door SUV.
