Re: Expedition imports, trust worthy?

His family as well as himself had health issues lately. Short of a bit delayed for that he has never let me down. He actually has gone out of his way on more then one occasion to help out. He is always my first choice for parts.

Re: Goatwerks / Jim LaGuardia experience

x2 Jim is a standup guy and one I would recomend highly. He has worked on both of my Haffies and his work is impecable, his prices are fair, and he has great advice and suggestions. If their was a rating system he would get 5 stars from me.

Re: WANTED: 712 or 718

Agreed on the westy synchro. All the 4x4 stuff on them are made by the company that made pinzgauers.
I would just want to do a motor swap for Subaru heart.

Re: Can you help me source an intercom system?

I went with a softcomm system in my old K it was a sterio unit that had spots for 6 headsets. I could plug my iphone into it and everyone could hear the music, then when someone talked to it would mute the music.

Re: Door near tail light

Accessory plug like that found on the fire wall of a k. In order for you to use it as a backup light you will need to re-wire it and add the reverse pin available from scott.

Re: Shocks cross reference Haflinger

Jared broke a limiting strap on the front right and the spring came out and damaged the shock. We were able to jack it up, replace the spring and use a piece of nylon webbing to finish the day at the dunes. Ordered a replacement strap from SAV and was able to find Monroe shocks to replace the front ...
