Re: 1961 Haflinger AP 700

Hey Scott glad you got a chance to take her for a spin since you didn't at Mogfest. Sounds like you will be seeing my other haffy as well in the next week or so.

Re: 1961 Haflinger AP 700

Andre made me a foldable roll cage for the back that mounts without any extra holes or welding to the body.
I wanted something that I could also add shade for the back passengers.

Re: 1961 Haflinger AP 700

No I could have got the trailer, but with a 10 foot enclosed wells cargo I bought for my first one, this one will a 20+ foot trailer so I can bring them both out at the same time.

Re: FS Pinz rear rifle mounts, and Haflinger wheel adapters

Jim would love to have your super cat but would have to sell the speedster or the haffy to make parking room. I really love these two air cooled vehicles so I don't think that will happen soon.
The wheel adapters will allow me to find some other rims and sand tires for the dunes.

Rust in the body is a big issue. Try and find as dry of a truck as possible

Re: Newby looking at Pinzgauer

If you can afford a 712 you will be more happy with it. Drives hardtop better, dirt trails better and has more room. Having had both I can say I was more happy with the abilities of a 712. Those tires and rims should be fine on the truck. Nothing taller or you will have problems. Shifting sounds lik...
