Brake light/ Ignition switch

I have a question.
Does the ignition have to be on for brake lights to work?
I am troubleshooting rear flashers not working and notice rear brake only work with ignition switch turned on. All other lighting circuits work.

My jack was leaking from the valve that relieves pressure on the jack. Since that was the only leak I decided to try to fix it myself. I machined a piece of Delrin to fit over the valve stem which will compress rubber seal. So far no more leaks.

Re: Pinz has new home.

I went to my local AAA last week before picking up vehicle and AAA said they would do it. This week they told me since it was out-of-state registration I need to go to DMV. So you go online to DMV and try to get appointment and it takes a minimum of a week. If anyone has any tricks for registration ...

Pinz has new home.

First time posting. I just got the pinz home from Oregon. Jon, the previous own is a great guy and wish I could have spent more time talking with him. I can't wait to drive it. I would rather have a wisdom tooth pulled then go to the DMV in California to get it registered!
