Now if you really want to complicate things. The use of the 24v circuit breakers available at marine stores will work great for added 24v accessories. These circuit breakers are around $5.00 ea. I have installed them in place of the original CB's in my 712 and have had no issues. I know that Jay did...

Yes the SWPA has a monthly meeting (all welcome) and at least one trail run each month. I am not sure what is up for Nov? We have our Treffen in October and that has taken most of the officers time. Do you have an idea for the 19th 20th or would you want to join us on a trip? The trip reports can be...

crown king trail run AZ

Just in case some of you missed it we will be doing the backway to crown king this weekend (17th). Information is available on the swpa forum under trip discussion. Yeah we are slowly getting things back together. If you want to hook up with one of the two start times PM me and I will get you in con...

wiper motor again

When I was in Co. at the RMP Treffen my windshield wipers gave out. I finally got around to taking them apart, after a couple thunderstorms here, and found the gear to be stripped. If memory serves me correctly someone had these made. Any leads on these would be great

Gee Mark, seems I had to weld a muffler back on your truck  Oh yeah almost forgot I was the one who knocked it off

I work on mine when time permits. We are fortunate enough to have Tony available for repairs and tune ups when needed.

It seems that only a few select 712's had the wheel chocks. They are the same units mounted on Unimogs.

BTW: Saw your old Pinz up in Teluride at the RMP Treffen. Guys seems pretty happy with it.

Hope you still make it to a Treffen every once in a while.

I will fish for anything that will bite. The lake in the picture is a bass lake with some very nice white crappie. Of course it has most of the warmer water types of fish but mainly is fished for bass. We are fortunate enough to have all types of water within a couple of hours. The rim lakes and str...

Towing a boat is tricky. Most will have surge brakes which makes stopping a little rougher. I tow my 19' sport deck with my 710 and have had no issues on the freeway at 60mph. That being said it is not a good idea in heavy traffic. Both the 710 and 712 handle trailer pulling much better than most wi...

We also gave up on the rubber gaskets. They just did not seem to stay seated like the original ones. Too bad though it sure seemed like it should have worked. Maybe if there were a groove to keep them in place or tabs, something along those lines. All of the ones used here whether a tacky gasket sea...

I try to keep posting on youtube, username swpapresident, of some of our major outings. The SWPA is in the process of a major redesign of the website. We are just tired of it going down all the time and poor service from our provider. Hopefully in the next couple of months it will be back up. We did...

you have not experienced yet because you don't drive your 710 much. The 712 has that fancy long range tank and no red death to be found there.

Glad you made it back OK. Don't forget meeting is Tuesday night.

It would be great to have someone in the Flagstaff area to scout out trails. We have not gone up there much as the territory is unkown to most of us. We have done the classic Sedona area runs(mostly very scenic). There used to be a guy in Flagstaff with a volvo and another one with the pinz but have...
