I mounted it between the rear edge of the table and the leading edge of the rear seats. I originally had an R/V/A/C mounted above,so I filled the hole with the vent. As the vent is very light,no reinforcement of the roof is neccessary,just the courage to cut out a 16" square hole in your roof! :lol ...

I would think that if you could get an "edge" started and if the material is thick enough, a small grip would be all that is needed to start the peel-n-heat. If your're lucky maybe a poor sanding prep was done :) and it will come right up! :D Perhaps a "repair and patch" with recoat would be another ...

If memory serves,5-7hp for compressor,about same for alternator. You must find a way to regulate the enging speed when the compressor cycles. I used a 3KW gen set and an RV a/c on my K.
