Re: Pinzi SSI
I set mine between 0.75 mm -- 0.8 mm, which is within the range of the PinzSSI recommendation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr9J3eQk-kE Yeah, the reason for the q is that isn’t in the range of the current doc. I was curious why it appeared to change over time. I get that it might not matter much...
Re: Pinzi SSI
The current set of instructions say gap the plugs to .6mm (.023") to .7mm (.027").
Elsewhere in the forum are references that the gap should be .032" (.81mm).
What's the info behind the differences?

Re: Pinzi SSI
For those wondering about the fit of the current PinzSSI on Austrian rehab updated models, the reduced area from the Austrian rehab seat belt mount does not really create any issues. Pic below of where it mounts (taken early in the install process). The new plug wires have to route over, under, arou...

Re: LED tail lights
I know this is an older post but I recently found some JW Speaker 265 LED tail lights on closeout at Headlight Revolution. Listed at $90/each. Before this, I had seen them closer to $160 ish each. I ordered a pair it took weeks to get them for some reason. I ordered on 25NOV. and just got them toda...
Re: Pinzi SSI
Has anyone done this on an Austrian pinz? After looking at this picture I realize my seat belt mount sits right next to where the coils are.. Worried that they will hit. Looks like nobody ever answered this. I have a similar questions if anyone has any learning experiences on the Austrian (rehab) i...

Re: coming out of storage, dry carbs, no start
Thanks as always Paul.
I was taking time going around airing tires and letting the starter cool off.
It just started up once the old mechanical pump filled the bowls up.
Runs like a champ now.

coming out of storage, dry carbs, no start
My truck has been in unintentional storage for a while and I am in the process of lighting everything back up. Apparently the carbs bowls are dry as cranking a bit does not result in a start. Any tips on getting to start (short of inverting the truck to fill the bowls)? I am reluctant to over crank ...

Re: Motive POWER FILL PRO 1 gallon
So it looks like this is just the ticket for gear/hub/diff/trans oil fill. It would appear you can pressurize it and take the work out of the problem while you are rolling around the ground on your back. My hand pump is a mess, literally. Someone, I forget who, posted about the Longacre metal quick ...

Re: Wheel Bearing failure noise
The weep hole is there to allow gear lube that may get by the seal to get out of the brake area without contaminating the brake parts. So sayeth pcolette per Willy at SAV... Interesting, I did not know about the weep hole. Not to detract from your bearing repair thread but does the weep hole mitiga...

Magnets for mounting things inside and outside. I've use them for mounting flashlight (divider), big ones for backup camera (rear door), backup camera screen (cabin ceiling), 25mm neodymium glued to intercom, fan, phone. Drill out the center to remove the hooks and there is a center mounting hole fo...

Re: Wheel Bearing failure noise
I think I hijacked my own thread, so I am going to compile a seal fix "how to." There aren't any decent pics out there anymore of the whole procedure and the steps leave a lot to be desired. Scott's video is good, but a little fast and the delayed audio is weird!! :D Thanks for taking the...

Re: Found 10-30 volt 1156 LED bulbs !
This is a question about the head lights. During a night adventure this past weekend, I was not as road worthy as I would like. My stock headlights are not all that bright and I was wondering if the newer LED headlights I have noticed on some pinzies, is it a simple R and R or is there some secret ...
