Re: Electric Lockers

Re: Electric Lockers

It is just a off the shelf actuator used for years on chevys. I made a 3d printed adapter but I plan to machine some out of aluminum when I have time on the machines (I own a machine shop) Considering adding a threaded on section of tube as a protective cover. This is the actuator I used for testing...

I know, why would I do such a thing, because I want to that's why. I plan to add a shield for it as well.

Re: Body lift?

Everything would just go straight up so it would also just be a spacer? Am I overlooking something?

Body lift?

Re: Pinz troubleshooting

So in the end my issue was either a plug wire not on all the way or a bad spark plug. Changed the plugs the other day and now she runs great and backfiring is gone. It has never ran right since I put on the ignition system which included changing the plugs so just never thought to change the new plu...

Re: Pinz troubleshooting

Going to recheck timing but waiting on TDC tool to make sure my mark is in the correct location, etc. Checked all 4 cutoff solenoids and they click. Tried to take temps on the exhaust but my IR thermometer was kind of all over the place. After the truck had been shutoff for a bit cylinder 2 exhaust ...

Pinz troubleshooting

After having the pinz sit for the last 7 or so years I am finally trying to get it running again. I am sure I have a few posts asking for help but decided to start anew since it has been so long. 1975 710 HISTORY.. When I purchased it,it did not run due to a fuel issue which I resolved. After that I...

Re: Finished my pinzssi install - feedback and first impres

Interesting.. I had issues before I went to the PinzSSI but since then have not gotten the Pinz running correctly. I checked the valves and had the carbs rebuilt and synced and finally found a bad new spark plug. Since then it start and runs fine but I seem to have no top end power. Was going to try...

Re: Fuel line check valve

Well I just bought my first Pinz a K, got it real cheap as it did not run, but it had few hours on it and only 17,000 miles and looked very clean. After doing some work on it, draining the tank and fuel line by fuel line and checking the fuel pump, because it wasn't getting fuel, however the issue ...

Re: New 2015 Ford Transit Wheels (Full Sized Van)

I researched this before and the front discs are not 5x160. The discs mount to the back of the hub with a different pattern..
